This lor mee is strongly recommended by a good friend. I like to go for the $4 one with more fried fish added. The noodle given is a lot with braised egg and fishcake. The lor sauce is sticky with a nice fragrance. The noodle was tasty after mixed with the sauce. The fried fish tasted quite fresh and crispy. It is recommended to add garlic puree and sambal chilli to make it nicer. continue reading

Lor Mee has always been one of my most favourite local dishes. I have eaten it from many places. Some are really good but most are just mediocre. I happened to be in this food centre for an early lunch. The regular stall where i wanted to eat Lor Mee was closed on that day. I was forced to look for an alternative. I spotted this stall. That particular article pasted right in front of their stall caught my attention. I was given the selection of $3 or $4 portion of Lor Mee to have it with fried fish nuggets or fried chicken cutlet. I opted the $4 portion with fried fish. This stall was manned by 2 person. The man was busy frying the fish nuggets right behind. The lady attended to me. My bowl of Lor Mee was presented to me rather quickly after i ordered. It was quite a big bowl of noodle served with a generous amount of fried fish nuggets topped with cut chilli and chopped coriander. The fried fish nuggets were freshly fried and so it tasted really crispy. It has got half a braised egg too. I helped myself to the chilli paste and garlic paste. A delicious bowl of Lor Mee awaits after i mixed it well. This was the first time i tasted this Lor Mee. I was amazed by its taste and fallen in love with it instantly. This was definitely one of the best tasting Lor Mee that i have tried. I came across another stall using the same signboard in Hong Lim Food Centre just other day. Hopefully the other stall has the equally good standard as this very stall. continue reading

After ordered my Hao Jian, I walk passed this MA BO Lor Mee stall as not many of the stall was open in the morning. Bought a bowl of Lor Mee. The waiter was friendly enough to give me a big bowl full of lor mee. Poured a lot of vinegar to enhance the taste of the Lor Mee. The Lor sauce was thick and well cook. The noodle was qq when i bite. The seasoned hard boiled egg was abit disappointed as it was rather hard to my like. continue reading
