Let me give you one main reason to visit MOS burger and that is the EBI RICE BURGER!Settled in between two japanese rice "burger buns" is a fried to perfection ebi (prawn) patty/fritter. With the addition of japanese seaweed and teriyaki sauce, this EBI RICE BURGER is seriously the best japanese fast food burger you can find. Located on the ground floor of AMK HUB is MOS burger. I enjoy sipping on my corn soup and eating this delicious ebi rice burger. Unlike typical fast food restaurants in Singapore aka McDonalds or KFC. After you have placed your order, you get a plastic card with a number. You a take a seat and someone will bring you your food in a white plastic basket. Extra customer service without the extra 10% service charge. Do take note that the food here is somewhat pricer that other fast food offerings, and till this date, MOS Burger is also one of the few fastfood chains that remain non-halal. They do not serve pork but they also do not have a halal certification. continue reading

Ordered Unagi Rice Burger on a weekday evening. Waiting time was around 10 minutes.I loved the unagi as it was well marinated and was quite tasty even though it had some soft bones in it. Probably not suitable for young kids and elderly. Rice patty was well grilled and soft as usual. Nothing special about it. Portion of unagi was rather small and is extremely pricey in my view. Overall, I liked the burger as it was not salty and not too sweet. The teriyaki sauce was tasty but a bit on the dry side. Insufficient sauce on the unagi. Quite good in my opinion but the portion was not sufficient for a full meal continue reading

MOS Burger has been one of fast food joints that I patronize the most. It is a nice place to catch up with my friends before afternoon lecture.Cheeseburger - $2.10. This price is for ala carte menu. You can always make it to set menu for additional few bucks, which comes with fries and choices of drink. My cheeseburger was average only. The beef patty was juicy, and the burger bun was soft. However, what I dislike about MOS Burger is that their burger comes in a small size, smaller compared to its competitors (you know who lah), so it is not really fulfilling.I also tried their MOS Chicken - $2.80 (not pictured), which looked like drumstick, but in boneless version. It was well-seasoned and crispy, although a bit oily. continue reading

Don't you have one of those days when you simply just crave for something so badly you don't even want anything else despite being quite hungry? So just the other day I was craving for fried chicken the other day, and there's many kinds of fried chicken in the market, from Taiwan, Korean, Japanese to Western styles. So I happened to pass by Mos Burger and immediately ordered their Mos Chicken ($2.70), which was amazing. They always serve it piping hot and fresh and I like how they deboned it to your convenience. Always a good comfort good, especially on rainy days. I'm kind of craving for it now too! Mmm ~ continue reading

Fast food never exist in my food list until i learnt the existence of the iced milk tea, their signature soups & the mos chicken. Had my first taste of chicken this year 2013 when i saw my colleague going to the Shaw outlet religiously. She offered me a bite and was shocked that i never eaten it before. After the first bite... I was hooked to it. Whenever i pass by amk hub, i will join the long queue just to buy a piece of the chicken. It costs $2.70 per piece & if you buy 5, it will cost you $2.50. The seating in this branch is quite cramp. So i do takeaways normally. continue reading
