My clique with my man was walking along Arab street wondering which Mediterranean restuarant we should head to for sheesha and some fingerfood. We went to Merdandy at first, it's pretty expensive and not worth for the price hence we head to Nasrin as alot of our friends recommend there. However, we have 6 people, we would need to have 2 shesha, that's their rule so we just order 2. Mixture of flavour cost the same too! The food is really good.Especially, the beef wrap, it's really very awesome. Chunk of beefs are out for bites. Their fries are very crispy too! continue reading

When you have nothing to do and when you want to head on down to have a good chill with your good friends, this is exactly what you can do or rather choose to do for a good week night chill or a a good week end chill...One of my childhood friends came down from the US and so we decided to go to have some food and smoke some Turkish pipe... We headed over to Nasrin to do both at the same time. This place is so big such that it has 2 separate locations within the vicinity. I could not help it but all i can say is that this place has a lot of pretty girls as well on a Saturday night of different races. The staff at this place was allocated a section to take care of all the customers and see to their needs. However at times it can be annoying because they tend to forget your orders but so far i have no complains because i do understand how it works in a F&B establishment. So having a night of fun, my friends and i settled down for an alfresco area at Nasrin with good sights and sounds of the Arab Street. A night of good laughs will not come without good food.. What we proceeded to do next was to actually order some food. This place for starters, do not serve alcohol so for those who want alcohol, another place will do good for your alcoholic fix. I ordered the fish and chips priced at 14.90, it is served with a mixed side salad, 3 pieces of juicy thin breadcrumb coated fish and a serving of french fries. Without a shadow of a doubt, this is one of the better fish and chips i have tasted. Its either a hit or miss for some fish and chips as some of them serve it frozen but without a doubt this is served fresh, the salad was a bit disappointing because it did not have enough of variety. I am not so particular about the sauce because i chose a vinaigrette to accompany my salad. The fries were simple non salted and non crinkle cut. A simple dish for about $14.90.They also have other items on the menu that provide a more middle eastern to a Turkish feel. Truly a palate that has to be tested with because of all their spices that are present in the dishes particularly in the Persian dishes...Come here to try the dishes if you want an out of ordinary cuisine and dare to be different. continue reading

It was my friend's birthday and we decided to celebrate at Nasrin. I have always loved the ambiance and the layout of Nasrin. It is a really nice place to hang out with friends or to just chill. I ordered the chicken kebab. You can have the option of having it with rice or fries. I decided to have something a little lighter and ordered fries. The portion was really big and I shared it with my sister. The kebab was very nice and the chicken was well cooked also. The fries were not oily and were well fried. continue reading

Normally we cousin will always Arab street for Shisha. but that day we went for dinner and also a tiny gathering among the cousins. We went to Nasrin. we ordered Lamb Kebab and Fish and chips. The lamb kebab is a dish which come with rice, grilled tomato and green chilli. vegetable such as peas. lettuce..and the lamb is a boneless lamb- grilled with spices. the lamb was really good. Super soft pls. i kept eating the lamb even without the rice. so juicy. the other dish is fish and chips, you must be thinking why go eat fish and chip at arab street when u can eat it at other places. But you know different places got different style of cooking. 2 huge fish fillets fried in breaded crumbs. Tasted really crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. the fries were cooked perfectly not really hard and soft. with chili and mayo. I would confirm go back to Nasrin to try out different DISHES continue reading
