If you are not looking at having lots of sinful and fattening foods during a buffet feast, or rather to choose the healthier range of foods from the buffet spread. This buffet will be ideal for you. The salads and fresh sliced watermelons are very fresh, sweet and juicy. Both are really those 'make you feel good food'. Having more will never make you feel really gulity and you can free yourself to having more of it continue reading

The dishes that made my day at Pariss International are none other than the homemade tofu and lambchop as well as the dessert chocolate larva. Tofu maybe a simple and common dish at home but this tofu at Pariss is extremely delicious. Crispy on the external and soft on the internal, together with the thailand sweet chili sauce, its tofu totally make you crave for more, especially when its serving is quite small.Besides the tofu, I would think the lamb chop is rather tender and well marinated although some I would find it hard to bite. The dessert chocolate lava is another must try as it simply make you happy after eating it. When you cut the pastry, the chocolate sauce simply oozes out like what its name suggest-larva and I love its crust which taste like brownies. The chocolate sauce inside is a bit sweet though but you do not really get sick of eating it.Others that are worth to try are the mussel which they baked it with garlic and butter. As someone who hate garlic, instead of disliking the taste of the mussel, I found it rather nice as the garlic smell is not that pungent and it turn out to be rather fragrant. Lastly, one could end off with a herbal grass jelly to cool you down, its herbal jelly is authentic as you could really taste the bitterness of the herbal. However, I am a bit disappointed with its cold dish especially the octopus. The sauce is a bit too overwhelming and you get sick of it. On top of that, its Cunmin chicken is not that satisfying too as the marination does not really goes well with the chicken.I would think the dishes that we have to order are generally better than those that we have to get it ourself. I would also say the staffs are rather efficient at clearing our empty plates as well as getting our order. However, the service at the counter would have to be improved. Overall, the variety of the buffet, from desserts to even the type of tea, is considered acceptable, However, to me, it would be slightly expensive suppose there is no promotion. for the lunch buffet. The promotion is at a price of $30.80 which is rather reasonable for an international buffet. For those crabs lover, I think I would recommend this buffet as they have quite some variety of crab, for example, snow crabs, black pepper crabs and chilli crabs. continue reading

we are constantly out there looking for the best deal in town. But buffet are sinful, we cant have it so often as the price are more expensive and we usually stuff ourself and regret later. Pariss are one of the well-known buffet restaurant in singapore which serve buffet all time in mall. It was an international buffet so there are mainly japanese, chinese, western dishes, ice-cream, chocolate fondue and free flow of drinks. Wide variety and they serve real quality food. They also have ala carte section whre you can order and serve to your table. Sashimi and seafood are all fresh, well presented. I would say this is a place that I will come back again, and again. Reasonable pricing, good ambiance, great food. continue reading

I was attracted by lunch offer, 20% off for members on weekdays. I went to Pariss again for the oysters and crabs. The oysters that i had for lunch here is smaller in size compare to dinner buffet. Maybe because it's cheaper? Not many people in the restaurant since it's a weekday. I am quite enjoyed the "peace" inside the restaurant. Dinner buffet here always like a war!I like the cold prawn, mussel but not the scallop there. They did not clean the scallop properly. You need to "clean it yourself" if you want to have a nice experiece of the scallop. As usual, chilli crabs and black pepper crab are my target. But i am quite disappointed they do not serve steamed egg crabs that day. Do not "yuucks" when you heard steamed egg crab. try it out and you will be suprised that it's taste really delicious. This is the first time i try their cold ramen, unexpected nice. Simple and taste good. You can add the seaweed based on your preference. And the Chocolate fondue is the thing that i never missed. Although coloful marshmallow looks attacted but white marshmallow is taste better with the chocolate. continue reading

This was my second visit to Pariss International Seafood Buffet. First visit was in Sep 2009 and my friends and i left with satisfying stomach and good impression. The staffs were friendly and it was their x? (sorry, i don't really remember) anniversary and we were given free life-time membership which entitle us with 10% discount. We visited again early this month (why not, since we have 10% discount, right?). However, we are left with disappointment unlike the first visit. Overall, there are lesser variety compared to last year and the portion shrink as well! Especially those oysters and crab!My favourite corner - dessert were definitely shrink in variety! Gone were thoose nice, appealing cakes that scream "Eat me!". Left were some pathethic cakes that looked dull and not appeatizing at all. The floor near the dessert section was oily and slippery. Overall, it gave me the feeling that i was walking towards the restroom of some old coffeeshop or worse, market! Albeit all the disgruntlement above, there was at least an improvement compared to year 2009. Yeay, the plastic that wrapped around the sushi roll are gone! I didn't notice there were plastic around the sushi when i first there (in 2009) until my friend ask, "How come no plastic on your plate? I thought you ate a lot of sushi?" Right at that moment, i felt like vomiting since i had at least 5 sushi which meant 5 non-biodegradable plastic lurking somewhere in my stomach and intestine. Oh, gosh! Although there was a notice informing diners to remove the plastic before eating, how many of us will actually go and read since we were too busy to choose which colourful and nice sushi should we eat? How about those small kids and illiterate uncles and aunties? Do they deserve to eat in all those plastic? Is the plastic used food grade in the first place? Anyway, all these are finally solved with the stop usage or removal of plastic before placing the sushi at the counters for diners. An improvement at least... continue reading
