It was claimed to be the Hongkong's cheapest Michelin Star, however in my humble opinion it doesn't warrant so. Pros : + Quick to serve + Ingredients are fresh Cons : + Serving is very small (avg person need to eat at least 3 servings or more) + Taste are bland, lack of flavour. + The fried rice is too hard and dry (tell tale of old stocked rice)

The cafe was located at the ground floor of a office block, just a stone throw away from my work place but no direct public transport to the place. The dine in area was made up of mis-match tables and chairs. Interesting industrial decoration. For a weekday lunch time, the place was pretty empty. Help yourself to the iced water by the counter.Nasi Lemak with 5 Spice Pork Confit (S$9.90) Chef Shen Tan's Signature twice steamed Nasi Lemak (featuring 10 ingredi...

The place was located just above the MRT station. For a Sunday afternoon, the place was pretty empty except for a couple of customers. Looking at the limited menu, there was lunch set menu even for Sunday which was quite rare these days. Ebi Ten Donburi 海老天丼 (S$16++) shrimp tempura on rice, appetizer, pickle, soup, dessert The appetizer was cold potato salad which smelt hints of truffle oil. It tasted not bad. The soup was pipping hot miso soup with wakam...

http://www.umakemehungry.com/2018/01/nonya-delicatessen.html Nonya Delicatessen has been serving Peranakan Dishes since 1980. Although I have noticed this stall for years, I only get to try out their dishes recently as many of the times they were either closed or sold out. They are opened daily till food last, also they also provide takeaways for all occasions. We visited on a Sunday where many of the patrons came to fix their stomach after their usual grocerie...

Originating from Germany, HANS IM GLÜCK German Burgergrill had recently opened its first outpost in Singapore along Orchard Road beside the Royal Thai Embassy. HANS IM GLÜCK German Burgergrill is strategically located closer to Tanglin instead of the stretch towards Somerset; perhaps a move to be a little bit away from the crowd and also to target the expats in the area. The menu here seems to cater to everyone; there are several options for vegetar...

The korean restaurant was a few months old and headed by a pretty young looking Korean female chef. The dishes served here were more of the home cooked type, no barbecued food. The dishes were accompanied with 6 different side dishes commonly known as banchan .GalBi-Tang  (S$26) Beef short rib soup with radish, leek and stripped sliced eggs. The favourite dish of the meal. The meat looked quite red but it was quite tender. The soup was quite flavourful too...

Eggs ‘n Things is just one of the many new F&B tenants which had recently found their home at Plaza Singapura, such as Typhoon Cafe, SAMA Curry & Cafe and Sen Sushi/Burosu Honten.  Hailing from Hawaii, the Plaza Singapura branch is the first store under the brand that had opened outside of Japan and Hawaii; the store at Plaza Singapura takes over the space that was formerly taken up by now-defunct Skinny Salad/Pizza at Level 3 of the new wing. ...
