If you have craving for BBQ seafood, head down to Chomp Chomp Food Centre. It is filled with stalls offering BBQ seafood and other local delights. Although there are a lot of barbequing, the place is quite ventilated. There are also several handicap-friendly tables all around the food centre. We randomly ordered from Ah Liang BBQ Seafood a medium sized stingray and waited patiently for it. Their chilli is surprising hot and spicy and tasty. It goes very well with the stingray. Supper with family and my wife suggested to tried the sting ray and kang kong. The sting ray surprise us because of it extremly delicious taste,it was just not as spicy as we expected. But, unfortunately the kang kong tasted awful as the garlic taste was very strong and i guess the cook added too much garlic which i can't even taste the sambal. Hence, i think the cheif should consider to change the recipe by not adding too much garlic which i think such strong garlic taste, it might turn off to some cosumer which dislike garlic. Anyway, my overall rating to their bbq seafood is still great with such affordable and resonable price. continue reading
