Was craving for ramen this afternoon and met this promotion. Anniversary from Ajisen ramen. It was also my favourite $7.90 spicy ramen too. Without hesitation started click away with their in house ipad menu. The servicing was fast and dig in. The standard is identical and not bad for the ramen. The spiciness can be better will be best specially local taste need more spiciness I think. It served with soft boiled eggs. This egg look weird but yolk is soft. Side disk gyoza and chicken slide. Seat is well decorated and cool too. Don't miss this promotion !!! continue reading

I ordered there Miso Char Shu Ramen Set which costs $14.90 without GST and service charges. It was a great disappointment especially the ramen. Well, first i had to say that the ramen soup base tasted like plain water. I paid $1 more for the miso and yet it turned out to be like that. Next the noodles was so hard, i wondered it was properly cooked a not. Then comes the char shu meat added to the ramen, worst ever i had eaten, it was as hard as biting onto rock! I give up in the end. The ice lemon was also, so not recognize to go back again. Only the fried dumplings were nice. continue reading

Went in at around 5.30pm so there weren’t any queue ;DThe staff is friendly and service was prompt. As usual, we ordered the ramen set where the price includes 1 ramen + 1 Ala-Carte + 1 drink.I ordered the Pork Kimuchi Ramen with white fish ala-carte.The Pork Kimuchi Ramen is actually kimchi ramen. The kimchi has it’s spiciness but the soup base is not spicy, hence the ramen is not really spicy.Love their rich and thick soup with the chewy texture ramen ;DThe ramen portion is as always, considered a lot to me as I would get really full after finishing the whole bowl of ramen. The kimchi taste isn’t too strong though, I would prefer it to be more tasteful. The pork slices are thin and delicious. The white fish outer is crispy and the fish within is fresh and juicy. Coupled with the mayonnaise and sweet & sour sauce served, it brings the dish to a new level of taste that makes it appetizing ^^As always, we enjoyed dining at ajisen. Delicious food and great service.(:If I were to pick any unsatisfactory, it will be that I would always be so full after dining there continue reading

I used to like the ramen here but the standard has seemed to drop a bit as compared to my last time here. I have always go for the signature Ajisen Ramen but minus the chilli powder. I prefer a non-spicy version. The serving is quite filling with half of the egg and few pieces of japanese char siew in the ramen. I ordered a set that came with California sushi and scallop sushi. All tasted quite nice. continue reading
