If you are at Whampoa market, you have to try this orange-peel and sour plum drink, which comes with a cup of ice water. The stall owner is very friendly and nicely explain to me that I have to drink till the middle of the cup, and then add some more ice water, stir and drink again and continue the cycle until I finish it all! I felt so bloated after finishing the drink! At only $1.50 per cup, this is super worth it with the generous amount of orange peel served on top the sour plum drink, which is very refreshing and perfect on a hot day! I like it so much I even bought home a bottle of the concentrate($3), which has no expiry date and I can make 10 cups out of it!

One of my friends strongly recommended this drink to me. Just go up to the boss and tell him Orange peel sour plum. When I ordered the boss asked me if this is the first time I am ordering, told him yes. The he gave me some instructions how to drink. You are supposed to drink from the middle of the cup first, then add some more ice water, stir the bottom, drink some more and then add some more ice water. In the end ended with 3 drinks.According to the boss, he uses Taiwanese orange peel and sour plums to make this concoction. This is good for sore throat and cough. Good price of $1.50 for 3 drinks.

The friendly service is what gotten me to go back all this while. The stall is manned by a chatty Uncle single-handedly. This stall is well-known for the dried orange peel with sour plum drink as well as their coffee. Their iced coffee is my usual choice as well. The coffee has got the right mix of coffee powder and condensed milk at the right level of sweetness. The right amount of ice cubes were added to keep it chill without diluting the coffee taste. Such is a simple enjoyment.
