Signature Dishes
I was attracted by the crowd initially and sampled a few flavours before decided on the one. I had moscato. It was sweet and tasty with a faint taste of white grapes. I topped it off with mini marshmallows. The only frustrating part was that the cup was so small and the ice cream were overflowing. Probably they are trying to portray that the serving is huge . Oh well..

At this gelato outlet, it also sells Italian Granita which is a refreshing beverage made of all natural and fresh ingradient.I order a cup of each flavour each to try. Oh what a bad choice. It looks like there is few orders for this item as the staff has a hard time making the drinks. We wait quite a while for our drinks. It is very cold and extremely sweet. The crushed ice is too big. If it is finer will be better. The flavour of lemon and green tea is quite faint. I feel that it is also quite small cup and not worth its price.

No normal person (no offense meant) would be able to resist an Ice Cream Parlor, let alone one that has more than twenty flavors. Smart move, because well, you’d learn to bring more friends along to try out more flavors. I’m one who doesn’t usually go for the ‘free tastings’ of the Ice Cream, because really, Ice Cream flavors can’t go too wrong and a small lump of it can be deceiving as well. Liking a scoop of it doesn’t mean liking a cup of it.A plus point for Gelateria Italia is its self-service counter with free toppings of rainbow sprinkles, mini marshmallows and chocolate rice. But since I like my Ice Cream pure to taste the authentic flavors, I skipped this section all together.We had some lighter flavors on one cup, consisting of Soursop, Mango and Bailey’s Irish Cream. I say, don’t ever go for the Soursop. It has this weird taste attached. The Mango was pretty ordinary, with it being slightly sour. The Bailey’s Irish Cream was expectedly bitter with minimal sweetness. Not a flavor I’d want for a supposed sweet treat of Ice Cream.And we had a cup dedicated to Chocolatey flavors, which includes Dark Rocher, Nutella and Cookies N Cream. The latter was disappointing as its cookies were near to non-existent and dominated with the ‘cream’ instead. The Nutella was fine but would do better with a stronger taste. With that, the Dark Rocher shone bright despite its relatively duller colors and were the flavor that won our hearts that evening. It was sufficient to satisfy a Chocolate cravings, yet not overly sweet, nor overly sickly.A cup of single scoop Ice Cream costs $4.90, and $6.90 for an addition. I do not think it’s worthy if you just buy the single scoop, but justifiable if you go for more scoops. The Ice Cream texture is generally smooth and good. The only thing you have to worry is its flavors. Of the 6 flavors I had, I am disappointed to be only impressed by one. Maybe we chose the flavors all wrong.It’s an Ice Cream Parlor not condemnable, but one that you need to be wary. Good thing though, at least for its outlet at Bugis+, is its luxe decor and available of seats to continue the catch-up after a meal.

Saw much crowding around this gelato store, so decided to poke my nose in. Interesting display case with all the fancy related props around the flavours.I ordered Deep chocolate and vanilla . The chocolate flavoured gelato was rich,velvety and luscious. Vanilla gelato was a bit of a disappointment as it tasted like essence and I didn’t see any vanilla seeds (from pods). But overall , the gelato is great tasting for a hot day and a healthier option to factory manufactured ice cream. As this is my first time visiting this place, I’m gonna go safe with my flavours and will definitely be back with more adventurous options in future.

Bought an voucher on qoo10 for this ice cream treat (5.40). I went on a friday night, and I think i went at the wrong time. There was a lot of people crowding around making it hard to grab the attention of the server, and I have to wait so long just to taste a few flavors. I decided to go with the cookie and cream, and the berries. A contrast of something creamy and fruity, so that it would not be so sickening after a few bites. Still quite a decent dessert, average tasting.
