This prawn noodle eatery has an old school and traditional vibe, however, I am not too sure about its history and establishment.Prawn noodles is the main dish while there are a different combination of pairings too. Ngoh Hiang were available as sides too.I had Prawn Noodle with Pork Ribs ($5.50) and Calvin had the Prawn Noodle with Pork Ribs and Ox Tail ($6.5). I can't remember the exact pricing, however it's roughly there about.Frankly, my taste buds aren't that sharp in identifying a good solid bowl of prawn broth. Having said that, this was definitely rich with prawn essence.I did enjoy my meal over here.More pics and thoughts at http://lepakwithyaops.com/famous-geylang-prawn-noodles-along-upper-paya-lebar-road continue reading

First time coming here to makan. Have been staying nearby since birth but don't know about this place.Having Pork Rib Bee Hoon ($4.30) in soup version. The bee hoon is thicker than the usual bee hoon, but not as thick as thick bee hoon. Soup seems a bit watered down. The pork ribs are well chopped into small sizes.Cold barley drink ($1.20)Tastes home made type.R orders Prawn Mee ($4.30) in dry version, but is served soup version. She like the dish. She is also having Ice Jelly ($2), which is very refreshing and tasty.Paper boxes are available at the tables to throw the shells and bones in. Very thoughtful. continue reading
