http://phuachiuyen.wordpress.com/2011/05/31/choco-italiano-pastamania/A very chocolatey bite from Pastamania! The chocolate was real thick and oozing out. It's hot!The nuts were very crunchy and was a good companion of the chocolate italiano. The strawberry makes it look more presentable and tasty to eat. However, I think it would be good if there were more fruits on it for a better presentation and taste.Super heaty and sinful dessert but overall it was quite a good combination. continue reading

Dolce Toast ($6.90+)Maple toasts served with baked tomato, marinated olives, and chicken sausages.I also top up another $1.50+ more for a soft drink. It is a simple western breakfast with toasts and sausages at a relaxing place. Only the olives looks a bit out of the place in this dish. Here, it is much quieter than McDonald which is just across. Overall it is a tasty and filling meal. continue reading

It was noon and as I did not felt like cooking, I decided to order Pastamania via delivery. Ordering was fuss-free using the internet, and the food arrived in approximately 45mins. The food was still warm when it arrived, and utensils were provided with a packet of chilli flakes and cheese. They even provided me with a packet of tissue paper, which had the word reserved stamped on it. Uniquely Singaporean! Haha, as it could be used to 'chope' a seat when we dine out.Back to the food; I ordered a Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble (S$8.10) with Spaghetti. I like the fact they allow customers to choose from a range of different pasta, depending on what you prefer. Not only that, customers with a big appetite could upsize their meal too. Delivery charge was an additional SGD3, which was a tad expensive in my opinion. Minimum order was SGD10, so I ordered a drink - Minute Maid Pulpy Citrus, which cost a hefty S$3.40, compared to supermarkets selling it for about S$1.45. However, since it's delivery and to my convenience, one should not complain. The Turkey Bacon Cheesy Crumble was quite dry, probably because all the sauce was already soaked up by the pasta during delivery. The bacon was also hard and dry, and I had a hard time biting them. Cheese sprinkled on top was really little, and luckily they provided a small packet of cheese to add on. The spaghetti was was cooked just nice though, and portion was just right for me; not too much or too little. Overall, I would not order this again as I felt the bacon was not to my liking, and I had a hard time eating it. I would try their other pastas next time. continue reading

Tried the apple pizza at Pasta Mania during one of the weekends. Not bad I would say, and it appeals to children. Service was quite fast, and staff were friendly. Children get to choose balloon of their choice too.We also tried the baked rice and pasta, and are satisfied with it. If there could be more cheese in the baked rice, it would be better. Also, more chicken in the pasta would be welcomed too. continue reading
