There was a one for one promotion a few months ago. The prawns in the seafood aglio olio was fresh and goes well with the pasta. Soft-shell Crab with Black Pepper Pasta, the black pepper sauce was alright. The baked rice took more than 30 minutes to arrive and it turns out they forgotten our order. We also ordered two slices of cakes and azuki green tea latte. Overall, I didn't really like the revamp of their menu, tcc took out some of my favourite dishes including the mini crayfish wasabi pasta.  continue reading

Really happy that my friend brought me to this TCC outlet at Wisma Atrium today. The restaurant environment was quite cosy and comfortable. The service here was also friendly and helpful too.We had their coffee before we start to have the maincourses. Coffee was really fragrant and like the butter cookies that goes along with it which is crunchy and fresh. My friend had the Wild Shrooms Penne which the penne portion was quite generous and the texture was chewy and not soggy. The wild mushrooms are also fresh and really goes well with the penne. I had the O'bello Chessy Eggplant which the gravy was simply delicious and the eggplant is soft and fragrant. I suppose the whole meals cost around $50 dollars which is consider quite affordable. continue reading

Went to TCC for tea with my mum and sister! At 2.45pm, the place was half full. There's 1 for 1 mains promotion for members in the month of july. We ordered a Oreo Cookies Frappe ($8.50), a high tea set that was on offer at $13.90 (comes with tea/coffee) and a main, Tobiko Scallop Pasta ($21). The food came relatively fast!! My tobiko scallop pasta was really good! There's 3 big scallops with fish roe sprinkled at the top and I love the creamy sauce that came with a hint of Japanese soy sauce. I think the pastas on the menu all looked very nice, I had a hard time choosing but I finally went with Tobiko Scallop Pasta.Oreo cookies frappe was very rich in its taste, and very thick as well. I think it's better after the ice melted, easier to drink. The high tea set has a variety of tarts, cakes, scones and some meat on a biscuit. But the highlight of the set was the raisin scones! Tip: It's better to eat the scones immediately when served! It was warm when served and it was flaky and crumbly (the crumbs fell off easily) and it was so nice when put with jam! There's another one with duck meat on top of a biscuit which tasted rather unusual on a high tea set. continue reading

Being a TCC member, I have a 50% discount voucher & a 30% discount voucher on my birthday month. So its time to spend it on good food with my dearest sistas...I picked this branch cos I heard ION outlet is always packed and I have friends coming down from Woodlands so Orchard is more conveniently located. They have a bright red/white theme decor, however their carpet is stained pretty bad I was there early so I ordered a salad dish and some appetizers to share with early birds while waiting for the rest to come.My drink choice...Passion Yuzu Ice Tea This is good, refreshingly sweet passion fruit sorbet with citrusy yuzu peels...perked me up instantly!Baby Crayfish SaladFresh greens topped with crayfish mayo with tobiko roe, drizzled with wafu dressing. It tasted very good...the best dish of the day!Mentaiko Shrimp MartiniOur all time fave, did not fail us this time round.Things started to go downhill from this point onwards...Deluxe Snack PlatterThe Calamari was not fresh, it tasted slightly fishy and very chewy. The Cheese sticks should have a chewing gum stretch when broken into two, but they broke cleanly like biscuits, it is obviously overcooked!Shroom bitesThese were burnt underneath and looks like quite haphazardly put together with ingredients overflowing on the sides of the bites. My main course is Ocean Surfin I ordered this due to the good impression it left me on my last visit to tcc Bugis. I'm very disappointed, the fish is overcooked and sorta shrank in size!My friend's Mentaiko Spaghetti w/ Salmon TatakiThe Sunny side up egg yolk is supposed to be runny but it is not, the salmon was also overcooked. Thumbs down again Service level here was alright. However, the overall food quality here hass more misses than hits. We won't be coming back anytime soon. For full review and more pictures, visit http://midas400.blogspot.sg/2013/04/tcc-wisma-atria.html. continue reading

Decided to head down to TCC cause of the $30 TCC voucher that my friend gave me.Although the ambience and furnishing is excellent, the price is rather pricey! We've ordered 2 chocolate devil cakes, a coffee and passion fruit tea and we've used up all our vouchers!Nonetheless, have to say that although it might not had been worthwhile, but, the cakes and drinks are really not bad. The drink is not-too-sweet nor sour, just right! The cake has a strong and rich chocolate flavor. continue reading
