Tried their extra spicy chicken set ($8+) that came with fries (I changed the mashed potato to fries) and honey biscuit. The biscuit had a dry texture but the honey flavour was rather addictive and there was a salted flavour in it too. The chicken was tender and skin was really crispy. It was also spicier than the normal crispy chicken but tolerable. The breast meat part was a tad dry though. The chicken was also quite oily but it's expected of fried chicken especially those in fast-food chains. The fries were rather yummy (unlike mcds and kfc ones) and tasted like potato wedges in fries form. If you like fast food chicken, you'll like this I guess

In the Westgate, I went to Texas to have my lunch.They have every day variety of promotions,Like Monday special,you can get 5 pieces of chicken @ 9.90.Like Tuesday & Thursday special, they have many combos like,2 piece chicken meal,Mexican burger meal, Tex wrap combo etc. They have sides like fries,whip potato,coleslaw,honey biscuit. Desserts like ice creams,Honey biscuit. Soft drinks like coke,7up. I tasted tex wrap,It's quite big,A wrap stuffed with mayonnaise,lettuce,tomato, & crispy chicken tender of your choice(spicy or original).The taste was good,this combo meal served with soft drink & fries.quantity,ambiance,waiting time everything is good.

Texas Chicken has open a branch in Jurong East Westgate. I always wanted to try their chicken items but never got the chance to try as all their branches were so faraway. At this Westgate branch, there was a opening promotion whereby any meal purchase will get a Coke glass pepper shaker bottle free.I had ordered a Classic Chicken Burger set at $4.50. The price was quite cheap as compared to KFC Zinger Burger at about $7. The service was prompt eventhough there was a lunch crowd coming in during lunch hours.The Classic Chicken Burger does look similar to KFC Zinger Burger. With big piece of fried chicken patty and lots of mayonaise inside.The taste of the Classic Chicken Burger was also quite similar to Zinger Burger, minus the spicy chilli. The fried chicken patty used thigh meat that was juicy and tender. Generous of mayonaise under the bun made the whole burger sinful to eat, though quite creamy and delicious.
