Authentic taste of American food.Even the portioning stands true to American sizes!Personally liked Little Italy's Killa' Lasagne. According to its owner, everything is made from scratch. Instad of bolognese sauce in regular lagsane, this one is layered with tasty Beanless chili sauce. (The signature suace which is used in their hotdogs from The Mustard Incident.)Philadelphia Cheese Steak is another must try on the menu. A marriage of filleted steak covered in caramelised onions, sauteed pepers and 3 cheeses served on a ciabatta bread.Ending our meal with a sweet note with Nutella-misu. Traditional Tiramisu layered with Nutella. YUMMY! continue reading

I love American food, and when I was walking down Club Street with my bff that very Thursday looking for places with satisying food to dine-in for dinner, boy I'm in for a surprise. What really attracted me to drop by before I even look at the menu is the decor. The place looks real comfy, with a sofa set just right at the entrance welcoming us in. Well, too bad its already occupied, or else we would have call dips for that spot. Their playlist is real awesome too. Classic rock in an American-themed diner? Perfect. We ordered some hotdogs (The Frankenstein and Bar-B-Dog), an Oxtail Stew and the Little Italy's Kill' Lasagne cause we were really hungry. When the food came about 10 minutes later, we immediately regretted our earlier ordering impulse because the portions are huge. No, I'm not kidding. It's enormous. I can feed my family with the amount of food we ordered.I really love the lasagne and the hotdogs. I remember having the dogs at Tangs Basement awhile back but I'm not sure. Not that it matters because this is officially my favourite place to get hotdogs. The chilli is really awesome, and the dogs are big and juicy. Imagine the meat juices bursting in your mouth the moment you sink your teeth into it. You know when you get lasagne from your usual places, the individual layers get seperated when you cut it because the layers are just not thin enough. Not this lasagne. My fork when through it and it's like eating cake. Oh, and there's the awesome chilli in it too. I'm coming back again for more. And this time I'm bringing my family. continue reading
