Ordered chicken pau from this stall a long time after I've decided to give them one more chance (had a bad experience a while ago). I bought 5 of them and had 3. One tasted sour and smelled like salted fish. I'm going to discard the remaining 2 pau and never get from this stall ever again. Please refrain from ordering their chicken pau! continue reading

I love eating ma lai goh and have tried a few different ones from other places. I came here to grab a quick breakfast on the go and tried their version of ma lai goh. This one was pretty normal and up to standard in terms of taste. The cake costs $0.80 for a sizable portion. It was soft fluffy light and still slightly warm from being freshly made/heated up. The cake had a nice flavour to it and was not too greasy. The vanilla undertone was a nice touch and I really enjoyed my simple healthy breakfast. Quite convenient for me and I foresee myself buying breakfast here again. continue reading

Since I was there for lunch I had decided to buy something back for tea. I had originally wanted to order the lo mai gai but they were already sold out. What's left was only fan choy. They were starting to pack up for the day when I went back again. The best time to go for food at this place is before 10:00am.The fan choy taste quite good even after I brought it back to office after 5 hours. The char siew not too chewy and the glutinous rice well cooked. continue reading

As the name of the stall suggest, this stall sells all type of Pau Tim, like the various steam pau, fried tim sum, tarts etc..It was not yet 1pm and the seller of this store was beginning to keep the remaining unsold items. I quickly went over to see if I could get something. The remaining items were not my type except for this coconut tart. Quite a while since I have eaten one. So I bought one. $0.80 each. I didn't get the chance to eat it until about 9pm at night. The crust was still very crispy, but the filling was too sweet. The filling was made from a mixture of coconut and flour. It tasted a little like a cake. Overall was just an OK. continue reading
