8 Best Popiah Places in Singapore
Although popiah is commonly found in Singapore, it is often overshadowed by more popular local fare such as sliced fish soup, chicken rice and hokkien mee. Many ingredients go into making the popiah filling – bangkuang (turnip), sweet sauce, bean sprouts and lettuce, to name a few. These ingredients are then wrapped in a paper-thin popiah skin, sliced and served. Whether you’re looking for the perfect mid-afternoon snack or DIY popiah sets for some family fun, we’ve got you covered with the 8 Best Popiah Places in Singapore, including one halal option!
