Dallas Restaurant has 3 floors which consist of a bar, restaurant, and a private room for functions
It is for these reasons why OpenRice conducted the next OpenRice Tasty Union (ORTU) at this place on a sunny Saturday afternoon. It was a little too early for alcoholic beverages on the 1st floor, so the lucky OpenRicers went there to sample new dishes from their new menu!
All 10 of the invited members were ushered to the 2nd floor where the restaurant was situated. A spacious interior with plush chairs and tables welcomed them, and they were given a table near the window for the best view.
One of their signature appetisers: the Alabama Pork Ribs
Other signature appetisers served during the tasting were the Salt & Pepper Calamari, Chicken Tikka with Coriander Mint Sauce, and Alabama Pork Ribs.
You can't leave Dallas without trying their Fiery Berri Pork Ribs
After 6 appetisers, you would think that the members would be too full for more, but they still had room for what lay ahead—the main courses. One of these is their signature dish, the Fiery Berri Pork Ribs. Slowly braised to achieve that tender juiciness, the meat just falls off the bone when you eat it.
Southern Burger and Beef and Chicken Fajitas
Other notable dishes were the Crunchy Honey Mustard Bacon Salad, Chicken Penne Pasta, Southern Burger, Avocado Chicken Parmigiana, and the Beef and Chicken Fajitas. The members enjoyed these dishes while they got to know the fellow OpenRicers.
Everybody, say CHEESE!
Overall, the tasting session was a success in a way that the members gained new foodie friends and discovered a dining place they can visit when they need to de-stress. After trying the restaurant’s signature dishes, the session ended on the third floor with a group picture to capture this memorable moment.
