If you’re looking for a twist on the conventional turkey, get their all-new Portuguese-style Curry Turkey ($218, serves 10-12 people). The bird is marinated in a secret homemade recipe for two days before it is baked and served with two 21cm baguettes and a tantalising curry gravy. Dip the baguette into the gravy and bite into the succulent turkey. Other new items include: Slow Roasted Ibérico Pork Belly ($320, serves 6-8 people) and Turkey ‘Kueh Pie Tee’ ($18 for 10 pieces, $32 for 20 pieces). Besides the Traditional Roasted Christmas Turkey ($180, serves 6-8 people, pictured), treat your guests to an indulgent Homemade Festive Foie Gras Terrine ($85, serves 2-4 people) with fig brioche, cranberry jam and onion chutney. If you’re conflicted by the myriad of Christmas options out there, save yourself the hassle of thinking and go for one of the 3 takeaways packages ($305, serves 6-8 people/ $589, serves 12-15 people/ $678, serves 15-18 people) launched by Shelter in the Woods. Their priciest package includes a Whole Turkey (4.5kg, pictured), Cote de Beouf (1kg), Whole Suckling Pig (3kg to 4kg), Roast Beef (500g), Log Cake (1kg). The whole turkey is stuffed with chestnuts and comes with a generous serving of bacon chunks and roasted baby potatoes, whilst the suckling pig is accompanied by roasted caramelised pineapples. Available for takeaway, the restaurant's Christmas Charcuterie ($59++) is a set of three - duck rillettes, chicken liver mousse and ham & parsley terrine – that can be conveniently served straight out of the jar. Indulge in Boston Lobster, salmon, ama-ebi, yellow fin tuna, California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll and Ikura. Top up $50 for Sake.
