1. D’Rubinah Restaurant Garnering hordes of loyal fans that come here for the inexpensive and unpretentious food, D’Rubinah is the people’s choice of the best roti prata in the Sembawang district. It comes as no surprise because the prata served here is crispy and non-greasy. The highlight of the dish is the mini bowl of curry that is served on the side. Frequent customers of D’Rubinah also rave about their Biryani and Mee Goreng. D’Rubinah Restaurant, 592 Sembawang Road, Singapore 758451 Image: Openrice user, CookiesNCream

3. Mr and Mrs Mohgan's Super Crispy Roti Prata Having been described as ‘manna from heaven’ by critics, we deem Mr and Mrs Mohgan worthy of being of one the top roti prata stalls in Singapore. The pratas sold at this humble corner in the Joo Chiat area is true to its name – super crispy. The pratas are also non-greasy as they are all made fresh on the spot for the customers. Take your pick from a wide selection of curries, from Dhal to Mutton or Fish curry. 4. Thasevi Food Thasevi has been around for more than five decades and offers arguably one of the best roti pratas in the north. Although many are displeased with their slight increase of prices, their roti pratas are still of the same standard and taste. Try their fresh egg pratas with chicken curry, a favourite choice among the patrons of Thasevi. For an alternative or add-on, order a plate of Indian-style Mee Goreng or warm Tulang Soup, which are also bestsellers here.
