Got a big party planned at home for Christmas? Take the stress-free route this holiday season with these fantastic takeaway and catering options available.
1. Jack's Place
What: Celebrate Christmas in the comfort of your homes with festive takeaway specials from Jack's Place. Boasting over 20 items, their selection includes hearty roasts such as the Roast N.Z. Striploin ($96/2kg). Get more bang for your buck with their trio of Roast U.S. Turkey, Honey Baked Chicken Ham and Red Velvet Splendour Log Cake for $198. Do note that all roasts are chilled and requires reheating before serving. Warming of roast services will be available only at Jack’s Place Main Office from 1pm to 5pm, excluding 23 and 24 December.

Festive takeaway menus can also be found at all JP Pepperdine Restaurants (Jack’s Place Restaurant, Eatzi Gourmet Restaurant, Restaurant Hoshigaoka and Kkongdon Barbeque) – customers may submit order forms there. Advanced orders of 3 working days are required.
2. Goodwood Park Hotel
What: New to the assembly of yuletide takeaway treats at Goodwood Park Hotel this year, is an Asian-style Turkey ($198 for 8 to 12 pax) that has been steamed and baked for two hours before it is stuffed with fresh chestnuts, ham and vegetables, glistening with gravy to go perfect with the accompanying yam rice. Personalized Push Pop Cakes are also available at $9.80 per piece in two flavours: Chocolate Raspberry and Vanilla Strawberry.

3. Gourmet Carousel
What: Gourmet Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts celebrates Christmas on the Little Red Dot with a wide variety of traditional favourites and new creations on the festive takeaway menu. Go bold with their Rendang Turkey ($135 for 6 to 8 pax) – a tantalizing combination of chicken begedil stuffing, vegetable masala and rending curry served with fragrant rice. Then, dive into sweet treats like Bon-Bon Chocolate Pralines ($21/9 pcs), Christmas Cookies ($7.50/ 100gm) and Festive Boutique Style Cupcakes ($32/6 pcs).

4. The Butcher's Dog
What: Keep your family and friends well fed with the dazzling line of festive treats from The Butcher's Dog. Trust the meat experts to prepare a prune infused Pretty Princess Turkey ($108/ $138) or a Nonya-Thai inspired Bedazzling Bibik Turkey ($89/$108) – the latter brined and marinated for 3 days in a blend of spices. Got an intimate party with 6 to 8 friends? Go for the Holiday Revelry party platter ($168.80), and you'll be all set with a whole roast chicken, pork knuckles, roast beef, homemade brandy mince pies and a bottle of Merlot from The Cellar Door.

5. Dome Cafe
What: Free yourself from the kitchen this holiday season and leave the cooking to Dome Cafe. The Dome Party Platter ($218) is a delicious mix of roasted turkey with chestnut stuffing, cranberry sauce and chicken brown sauce, a Christmas log cake of your choice, premium smoked honey-glazed ham, festive fruit cake and a bottle of wine. Also, back by popular demand is the café’s Handmade Gingerbread Collection – perfect for the kids.

To order: Place your orders at any Dome outlet. Pre-orders of at least 3 days in advance are required for large quantites and items like log cakes, party platters, gift baskets turkey and ham. Last date for pre-orders is 19 December 2014.
6. Cold Storage
What: If you’re looking for affordable yet quality Christmas offerings, the fresh food people at Cold Storage have got your back. Their new Dinner Deal Superior ($159.99) comprises roasted turkey, ham, BBQ smoky loin ribs and a festive sausage platter of four flavours to feed a party of 8 to 10 perfectly. Then of course, a celebration isn’t complete without a tipple or two. Infused with raspberries, the limited edition Hoegaarden Rosée comes in the shade of pinkish orange with hints of spice and coriander.

7. Shelter in the Woods
What: Elevate your party grub with pâté and rillettes with perfect pairings of confitures and flavoured mustards from Shelter in the Woods. The large range of house-made charcuterie includes Duck Pâté À L'orange, Pork Head Terrine with mustard and gherkins, as well as Baked Apple Cream Pâté with calvados and fried parsley. Prices start from $12/100g slice.

8. Peony Jade
What: Another oriental take on the turkey can be found at the Keppel Bay outlet of Peony Jade. The adventurous culinary team proudly presents its Nan Ru (Preserved Bean Paste) Turkey ($128++ for 10 – 12 guests), stuffed with intensely wok-fried rice, yam cubes and Japanese dried shrimp – throwing an Asian spin on the traditional Christmas dish. While the turkey is being carved, whet your appetites on the accompanying deep-fried taro chips, keropok and thick nan ru sauce for dips.
