Besides hunting down good quality seafood, you certainly can’t miss the interior design of food truck style. Diners can now appreciate the work of art and new tasty dishes at Orchard Road, Plaza Singapura. Make your order at the cashier, and receive a big white plastic sheet to roll over your table and also a bib to put on. If you have seen my InstaStory @foodgemsg ; it’s really easy to crack open hard-shelled crab using a hammer effortlessly. However you must put the bib on, to manage the flying sauce and other debris. Get deliciously messy with the seafood platters or burgers while dunking your fingers into the various choices of seafood buckets. Recommended for sharing with your family and friends, the portion is large!

At Oh Crab! Bucket, the yummy comes by bucket, with 7 different sauces to choose from:

The naturally sweet, delicate flavour of its meat and the sticky, briny taste of its roe was my favourite. Oh Crab! bucket also comes with corn, potatoes and chicken spam messy in the delicious Cajun Creamy Cheese sauce.

Get sweet and tasting of the oceans; Tiger prawns, live hokkaido scallops, sea bass and choice of pilaf rice or aglio olio pasta. That’s nice platter with three types of seafood. Richness and juicy scallop being my favourite, prawns that are easy to pry off the shell and sea bass with a buttery texture being the last. A little disappointment as the sea bass was slightly overcooked and dry.

The mussels were cleaned well and cooked in spicy tomato stew base with lots of chopped onions. Chilli lovers will be delighted as there are plenty of chilli padi. However, for non-chilli lover like myself, these chilli padi may leave you ticklish on the tongue and throat.

In our ocean box, we have soft shell crab with Thai red curry sauce and purple coleslaw. The Thai red curry sauce has the fragrance of basil leaves and milder spicy flavour making the perfection. The spiciness is manageable for a non-chilli foodie like myself. Add a splash of colour with crunchy purple coleslaw.

Everyone at the table agreed, thumbs up to Oh! My Crab (starring that Cajun cheese sauce) makes our messy experience worth repeating.
