1. Spago

Start off your new year with new heights at Spago, situated at the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands Tower 2. Diners can enjoy a 3-course dinner at the Californian restaurant, which includes signatures such as Holland Milk-Fed Veal Chop (pictured) and Pan Seared Red Snapper “Laksa”. Afterwards, if you’re in the mood for booze, head to the Terrace for some drinks. All dinner guests can enter the Terrace for free. Don’t forget to stay sober for the spectacular fireworks display. Price: 1st Seating from 6pm to 7pm at $250++, 2nd Seating from 8:30pm at S$300++ (with a glass of champagne)

Celebrate the start of 2016 with Verre Modern Bistro & Wine Bar. Feast on a spread of the freshest seafood and meats, alongside a selection of premium wines. Kickstart 2016 with Zafferano - on the 43rd floor of the Ocean Financial Centre – and delve into the five course menu of contemporary Italian cuisine. Their Slow-cooked arctic char, lemon potato cream and trout roe certainly deviates from the usual New Year Eve's offerings. Continue celebrating on the outdoor Terrace Lounge with guest DJ MalcolmX. Finally, watch the annual shower of fireworks and bid welcome to 2016! Price: $348, paired with MUMM Champagne (1 bottle for every 2 guests)

Wagyu Beef Tartare with Pear Kimchi
New Year, New Beginnings…at a new restaurant? Enter Meta, Keong Saik Road’s latest hip addition, serving Contemporary Asian cuisine. Diners will get to savour an eight-course tasting menu, which includes staples such as Wagyu Beef Tartare with Pear Kimchi (pictured) and Oysters topped with Ginger, Pomelo and Lemon. Save room for delectable desserts such as the Cheesecake with Blood Orange and Meringue. Price: $148++ per pax
