朋友知道我去新加坡，所以推薦我一定要食呢一間三盅兩件特別係佢哋嘅雞喎我一個人食叫咗細粉，不過都係好大份食唔晒最後打包走嘅，真係好好食爆汁嘅呢一隻雞係用生菜包住雞同埋攞少少沙薑就咁爆口食嘅真係超級好食，但係再好食嘅嘢食太多都會厭，所以都係打包帶走佢哋個砂礓醬真係好好食㗎，超級香本身諗住淨係食雞好奇怪，所以叫多個飯做煮食啦，叫咗呢個鹹蛋黃蝦蛋炒飯，啲蝦好大隻，所以啲肉就唔係好鮮嫩，個炒飯就冇乜特別普通蛋炒飯囉一個人真係好難食呢一種餐廳，叫太少又試唔到好多款餸，叫太多我食唔晒。雖然好食但今次真係飽到傻咗…查看更多

Had dinner here with friends the other day. Ordered their signature Samsui Ginger Chicken. Their large portion was enough for the 5 of us to share! Quality is as good as the one that you can find at other branches. The skin was silky smooth and lucious, meat was juicy and not overcooked. The ginger sauce that they provide goes incredibly well with the chicken. It is a combination that I first tried at another branch 2 years back.We also ordered the hometown tofu, half steamed half fried little pomfret and poached baby spinach in century and salted eggs stock. Located just above the check in counters is this rather huge Soup Restaurant. Their deco at different outlets seems to vary slightly with this outlet going for more of an "open" concept. Each table seems to have their own "private" space, without having individual rooms. On a saturday brunch time at 11am, the restaurant was pretty empty.Here is the spread of food we had for 6 adults and 2 children. It was alot of food, with alot of variety. 1. Samsui Ginger Chicken (Large) $33.90++Soup Kitchen is famed for their samsui ginger chicken. All the slices were juicy and tender and the texture of the meat was very smooth. Together with the ginger, the taste of the chicken is more pronounced. It is to be eaten with the vegetables provided, but I just enjoy eating it on it's own. 2. Sweet & Sour Pork with Pineapple $12.90++Their sweet and sour pork has a very nice hard exterior, probably from being fried before cooked in the sauce. The pineapples seems to be the ones you get from the can, which was slightly depressing. But the pork was just still superb.3. Penang Fried Mee Sua (Small) $11.90++The greatest surprise was this dish. Went to this Chinese restaurant with my family members for our dinnner. Restaurant was coszy but abit too squeezy. THe waitress here are friendly and helpful, and service is quite fast as well. Enjoyed their famous Samsui chicken which the meat is very tender and juicy. The chicken skin is also not too oily, which the meat really goes very well with the grained ginger dip. Their hometown tofu is also very delicious, with very fragrant golden brown deep fried skin coated outside the smooth and soft beancurd. Paid around $20 per person which is quite affordable.…查看更多

Baby wanted to have chicken since we are at the airport I brought her to T2 to have this samsui chicken. Since 2 of us only we only ordered a small chicken and a soup for our late lunch. It was close to 2+pm and not much crowd in the restaurant I have forgotten that they serve cabbage to go with the chicken and we order 2 bowls of rice which I think not necessary cos by wrapping the chicken in the cabbage is more than enough! You wouldn't normally associate very good restaurants with the airport. But I'm not surprised why Changi Airport won best airport of the year this year. I'm sure restaurants like Soup Restaurant makes a big difference. All of the dishes we order were terrific. Love the chicken here at the soup restaurant as the fragrance of the chicken goes really well with the condiments such as the minced garlic and the chilli. The chicken is really great when wrapped in the generous servings of lettuce! The chunchiness and freshness of the lettuce goes really well with the succulent chicken meat. This is one of the most popular signature dish in this restaurant and is a definitely 'must order' dish to prove that you have really came here before. This chinese, which taste quite similar to the usual hainanese chicken is equally fragrant and the chicken meat is very juicy and tender, and also really soft in texture too. Went to the Soup restaurant at Changi Airport Terminal 2 for a family dinner.Best to make a reservation before hand, which I did. Else be prepared to join in the queue for dining.One of my favourite dish in this restaurant is their Samsui Ginger chicken. It is steamed and it comes with lots of ginger as a sauce. You can pour the sauce into the chicken. It tastes great and makes the chicken smells very fragrant.Do try out their fried fish strips. This is my favourite Soup restaurant:), having tried their outlets at Suntec City, City Square Mall and Seah St. Partly, it's the ambience - the interior of the restaurant is cosy and quaint. The food at this outlet also seems to be tastier than their City Square counterpart!Me and B usually order the Samsui chicken, Soup (of course!) and a veggie. The soups are yummy - I have tried several of their individual soups including soups for specific indications eg. lethargy, detoxification etc. That Tuesday, we decided to just try the Soup of the Day ( for 2) which was a familiar soup from childhood - lotus root with pork-rib soup. It was great ! Piping hot in a ceramic pot, it was tasty and not too oily. The Samsui chicken is their specialty:) - best part of the meal is to wrap the chicken slices in the lettuce provided and add a good heap of their divine, famous ginger! We had their Ah Kong Sweet potato leaves as our vegetable dish that day, and although it was nice, the star of the meal was, as usual the chicken.We didn't order this dish as there were only 2 of us, but the other great dish we tried previously was the minced pork with water chestnut... it's a simple dish, but one that makes me nostalgic for my late grandmother's steamed minced pork.:) If the Samsui chicken was available in a smaller portion, i would be happy to order both meats! Their samsui chicken is their most popular dish! The chicken are tender and succulent. Really fresh and delicious. Dipped it into the ginger oil sauce in the center of the dish along with those cucumbers and pop into your mouth. It is really tasty and simply mouth watering just by looking at it. this is the most famous dish in Soup restaurant i guess. Almost every table will have this dish. The ginger smell is quite strong but not too pungent when tasted. I can still accept it. The chicken is nicely sliced and deboned, arranged neatly in a circle on the plate, which make us convenient to eat. The chicken is tender and not dry, and i think children will love this much.…查看更多

Had my dinner here with a couple of friends before I catch my flight to Tokyo. Over here the ambience were quieter and diners were a bit more conservative wherelse at the other branches where usually much rowdy as mostly were patronised by families or friends in bigger groups. Just wanted something that taste homecooked and I picked the Soup Restaurant.Needless to say much on their couple of signature dishes which I often ordered them, and the taste and servings were of the same standard at most outlets and there wasn't any difference to me which was good.
