I decided to try the prawn noodle from this stall when my regular was closed on that day. I ordered yellow noodle with prawns and pork ribs. The size of the prawns used was indeed big. They do have bigger prawns if you are willing to pay more. It served with soya sauce braised pork ribs. It tasted much nicer this way. They added a handful of dried shallots before served. This was a satisfying bowl of prawn noodle.

We decided to skip our usual choice of prawn noodle in this food centre and tried this out for the first time.There was quite a few customers right in front of this stall during the busy lunch hour. Amongst the different choices, we decided to order a portion of yellow noodle with prawns and pork ribs for $4.00.The serving came with 3 pieces of half-shelf prawns and 3 pieces of braised pork ribs with a piece of artificial abalone, a few slices of fish cake and kang kong together dried shallots. The overall taste of this particular bowl of noodle is pretty mediocre, rather passable and not outstanding. It tasted better after added in the dry chilli powder provided. The bowl of soup that served along with the noodle tasted rather diluted. The braised pork ribs gotten an overwhelmed taste of the five spice powder but the texture was tender and soft. I could not help but compared it with my regular stall in the same food centre and my choice is pretty clear cut. I would prefer my regular choice at any time.

The prawn noodles sold at this stall amazes me! I was attracted to it by its long queue as I want to find out why are there so many people queueing up! The prawns given are not of miserable small size and are very juicy. The pork ribs are tender and rich in flavour. The soup is also very nice and I can taste that it is not simply made out of MSG! I ordered a bowl of prawn noodles from this stall. The queue was ok, not too long and I managed to get my food within 10minutes of queuing. The ingredients used are very fresh, the prawns are large and succulent. There is also fishcake slices and some vegetables added to the bowl of noodles. The soup is very flavourful, having been simmered with prawns and pork bones for so long. Slurping it with the noodles, it adds flavour to it, making this bowl of prawn noodles a comfort food at a reasonable price.
