This one is seriously good. I found the rice to be super fragrant and chicken tender. I'm usually a roast chicken fan cos I find the steamed version to be a bit oilier and I'm quite turned off by the sight of rubbery slippery skin. But this one, with the skin removed on request, I really enjoyed!Side dishes were the kai lan were pretty alright. But the chicken rice was really the star of the night.

After a friend's birthday, I met my family at the Chicken Rice shop for dinner.We ordered Chicken Rice of course along with the Pork Chop.The chicken rice was very delicious as always!The chicken was flavourful and tender and went perfectly well with the garlic and chilli.It was our first time trying the pork chop and we were all very impressed.It was crispy and very chewy! Yummy indeed!Will definitely be going back for the pork chop again

The reason i bought my take away chicken rice frm this place is because the next door are always crowded and have to wait. Speaks about chicken rice, there is so many out there in singapore where they can compete with each and other.Five star hainanese chicken rice is definitely not the most appealing among the rest. Being a huge fan of Chicken Rice, my family and I often visit the Five Star Hainanese Cuisine Branch in River Valley.Firstly, the service there is really good.I've been patronizing this outlet for many years and get good service majority of the time.The only frustrating thing is that sometimes, the staff are unable to speak proper English but other than that, they're friendly.On this occasion, we ordered takeaway from the outlet.The staff were very generous when we asked for more chilli and garl

It’s a great place for supper especially after a night out. Shared 2 full kampong chicken, 1 serving of ma po tofu and 1 fried sambal kang kong.The chicken rice was fragrant and tasty. I love how the kampong chicken meat was lean, juicy and cold.. but not in the 'raw' way. The tofu and sambal kang kong were fine, they were not the highlight anyway.
