It was a very hot day and I was looking for something icy and cooling, and I chanced upon the large poster of frostyz - they have coffee frostyz, matcha frostyz, milk tea frostyz, etc. As ya kun is known for its coffee, I chose the coffee frostyz, which was a good choice as it is very thirst quenching, and the coffee ice blend is strong in flavour and not too sweet. With the burning hot weather these days, i am always seeking a cool drink to quench my thirst. While known for its coffee and toasted bread, their barley is worth a try as well. Silkyz barley drink contains a generous amount of beancurd skin, and egg white as well to enhance the "silkiness" of the drink. Perfect for a hot day in Singapore. I had breakfast at yakun again. I cannot help myself but to order their eggs because they serve the best soft boiled eggs in my opinion. I have already “burst” one of the yellow yolk, but before that, the yolks come intact and are perfectly large and runny. My soft boiled eggs at home almost always had the egg yolks burst when I cracked it open, so I am always very happy to dine in and have my soft boiled eggs at ya kun because it is always perfect. Always find Ya Kun Kaya Toast the best among similar concept stores like Toast Box and Wang Cafe.I always order the Set A which consists of 2 Kaya Toast, 2 eggs and 1 tea or coffee.Regardless of any timing, i can always have Ya Kun Toast and still feels full.I love having the eggs, they make you feel strong and tasty after having them.The cup of tea or coffee can always complement your meal and warm your heart.This is especially so during rainy days :)The best thing is the toast bread, always so crispy.The only downside is that your last 2 pieces of bread might turn cold.For me i love freshly toast bread, so tuck in and eat while hot …查看更多

i simply love the toast and tea set at ya kun. i strongly recommended their teh c. the tea flavour is really rich and creamy. the milk added to the tea makes it taste warm and creamy. it is very smooth as well. the tea is not too sweet as well. the toast is another killer. the bread is baked till very crispy. every bite you can hear the crunch. absolutely delicious! …查看更多

My wife and i always go The Cathay for movie. we usually will go basement to eat the Oyster Mee Sua. After having the food, we still have an hour o go before the movie. When i think of Ya Kun, i wld think of freshly toasted bread coupled with eggs and coffee. To my surprise, they also sell barley Water. or silkly barley as they call it. the barley was indeed soft and silky, with a generous amt of barley and barley skin.
