到新加坡必食既亞坤，分店很多，去到那裡每天都會路過不同分店，今天個胃終於有位品嚐一下了。一開始點了喇沙、咖央多士、朱古力咖啡，原先想喝熱奶茶，但天氣太熱，實在喝不下熱飲。估唔到杯朱古力咖啡出奇地好飲，朱古力及咖啡味都適中唔會偏甜或苦。喇沙賣相很好，未食已好香，面質爽彈，魚片豆卜亦爽口，蝦就雪蝦預了沒有什麼味吧。多士非常好味，面包夠脆，牛油充足，跟咖央醬非常配合，即使凍了吃仍然好脆坐了一會沒有咁熱後，點了一杯熱奶茶，好香，甜奶適中，但略嫌茶味未夠…查看更多

I was at BHG Bugis and my empty stomach was drumming. I decided to have Ka Yun for my brunch. I ordered the Kaya set at a cost of $4.90. It comes with a cup of aroma coffee. Two half boiled egg and 4 portion of kaya toast bread. The set was sufficient for a small size lady. In fact, I did not consume the bread. I packed my bread for my afternoon tea bread at 3 pm and they were as good. The butter did not sip through the bread and it was as good as freshly toast. The eggs will smooth and children will love this. Of course, the meal will complete a cup of strong coffee. The coffee kept me await till 1 am on Saturday midnight. Was looking for a place to sit down after shopping around bugis and have some small bites. We came to yakun which is a cafe that is famous for its toast and soft boiled egg. Me and my friend shared a set of barley drink with kaya french toast which cost approximately $5 altogether. The french toast is very tasty! we like it a lot as it is very fragrant and flavourful. Went for the kaya butter bread toast and half boiled eyes together with coffee (with milk set). The quality at the different ya kun stalls seem to differ. For this particular stall, the toast is not hot enough when served and thus left me a little dissatisfied. Ya kun sells lots of local type drinks and food. I love to visit them to get my milk tea fix. The milk tea here is quite robust and tasty with good flavour and just right sweetness. The drink is really refreshing and tasty. However I feel that the size of the drink is abit too small and it is not really enough to quench my thirst. Kaya toast is one of my favourite comfort food as i love how the taste of the kaya goes so well with the crunchy, toasted, soft bread. Kaya itself is fragrant due to the coconut and eggs used. Ya Kun has been around for a long time. I like their coffee very much. If you buy the coffee frosty between 3-5pm, you will get a cup of coffee free! Their French toast tasted so soft and goes very well with their homemade kaya!The staff were efficient and polite. The uncle who was making the coffee, helped me to add more water to my coffee when I requested for it. Note that not every branch provides the same service. I was at Bugis junction after work to meet a friend for dinner,before that I thought I'd buy myself a cup of tea so I headed to a Ya kun Kaya toast for a cup of tea. I ordered for a take away since I wanted to window shop around the mall. The tea was strong, rich & the milk & sugar levels were perfect. I only wish it wasn't too strong. I prefer the tea at Toast box anytime though this wasn't bad either. It costed less than 2 $. Its always refeshing to have a cup of tea in the evenings :). this place sells coffee, eggs and toast. for the toast - the bread is thinner and browner than other places. sometimes it is browner than other times. sometimes it resembles cardboard. we find that the toast is a bit too thinly cut. the kaya is nicely sweet and fragrant. there is enough butter as well. the quality of ya kun is generally consistent across outlets.…查看更多

my mother always reminded me to have breakfast. As I was a little early for my appointment, I headed to ya kun for some light breakfast. I ordered their soft boiled eggs. I like ya kun soft boiled eggs as they are reasonable with the price. The eggs are cooked correctly to the right texture. Here at Ya Kun, you can get to enjoy that traditional toast bread that are toasted over the charcoal with lightly spreaded kaya and thinly cut butter in it. It is really crispy and fragrant in taste. The half cooked egg with light soya sauce here is also quite smooth and yummy. My favourite drink here is their tea with milk which the tea is thick in flavour and the condensed milk added to it make this hot beverage so sweet and nice. What i like about ya kun is the price and the food they deliver. it is quite similar to toast box where they serve traditional local coffee and toast all day long.What i heard was it started from a small hawker stall somewhere and today they expanded to more than 20 branches though out the whole singapore.French toast is one of my favorite in Ya Kun. theirs aren't the same with how western did their french toast. I love eating the toasts at ya kun. Their toast is always crispy and very thin, such that we can fully savour the generous spread of their very own homemade kaya and butter. It is truly a delight munching into the bread. Since the set is slightly more worth it, I always try to get the set, and I will usually choose to have the kopi c.
