Located at B2 just a minute walk from Somerset MRT is YiLi Pao Pao Ice! It's a popular taiwanese dessert and though there's a huge bingsu craze, here's the biggest difference. The shaved ice here is made of real fruits and there are fruity chunks in the shaved ice as well!There was a male staff at the counter who was super cheerful and friendly! You can sample the different flavours to try before ordering.There are also tons of toppings starting at just 45 cents. The star shaped nata de coco caught my eyes!1. Shaved ice with one topping $4.95 + 45 centsI got peach and valentine fruit shaved ice. He first placed the valentine fruit at the bottom and then a layer of my star shaped nata de coco and proceeded to put the peach shaved ice on top and ending off with more stars. Checkout the spoon! It's like a heart shaped spade. Super cute!It seriously reminds me of a christmas tree. The cafe was quite cosy with Taiwanese pop songs playing in the background. There were young girls in the cafe enjoying the shaved ice desserts. It's actually quite a big portion for one to finish it all, but it is also very addictive. I didn't find it too sweet at the begining, but at the end I realized it was too sweet. The nata de coco itself was also very sweet. But I enjoyed the chunks of fruits in every spoon full. I will definitely be back to try their peanuts & kidney bean flavour, which has been highly raved on several media platforms.…查看更多
