Had heard about the rave on Singapore Food Trail @ Singapore Flyer so decided to head there for lunch with my colleagues. I like how the interior is - it feels like I am back to the 1960's of Singapore, with the roadside stalls selling really authentic Singapore cuisine, something which we will not get to encounter or even see anymore in the streets of Singapore now. Ordered a plate of fried oysters to be shared among us. The oyster is not that oily, and the amount of oyster in it is huge and fresh. Other than fried oyster, we also ordered laksa, fried hokkien prawn mee, satay bee hoon and their signature bird nest drink, which is refreshing in a hot weather.Will be back again if I happen to be around the area to try the other food available there.

Fried oysters at the Singapore Food Trail is quite a good choice of snacks. Firstly, the oysters used are quite big in size, and pretty fresh. The omelet is pan-fried till very crispy on the outside, especially the edge parts, enhancing the flavour by much. The dipping sauce for fried oysters is important too. The sauce here is not overly sour, with a hint of spiciness. Thumbs up.

My food trail started with Katong Keah Kee Fried Oyster. The stall is very generous with the chilli sauce. A good Fried Oyster must be matched with a good chilli sauce and the stall did not disappoint me in this aspect. Some may like their plate of sweet potato flour and egg fried until very crisp but I prefer it to be a bit wet. The stall managed to fry a balance neither too wet or crisp.
