This fried oyster is so expensive, $6 per plate. I think the price is slightly marked up than the usual $4. But we decided to give it a try since we both had the craving for it. It wasn't beyond my expectation, neither nor i was below my expectation. I will rate it 6/10 for the overall taste. The good points are the oysters are fresh and juicy and it was not as oily as the other store available outside. On the other hand, the egg and flour was not well spread at all. I didn't really like the texture of it. The stall owner was friendly however it took a long time for my food to be cooked. 繼續閱讀

We headed to the Old Airport Road Food Centre and decided to try the Katong Fried Oyster stall as I heard they are famous for their fried oyster. It was resoanbly priced at $5 per plate. It was served piping hot as it was just fried out of the wok. The oyster cake was crispy and moist inside. What was disappointing is the number of oysters as the entire plate had only 3 small oysters. 繼續閱讀

my girlfriend and I love to order the fried oyster from this stall cos they have the fried oyster at $3 and the portion is just right and we can order more varieties of food. The oysters are super fresh and juicy. the omelet is very fragrant and not too starchy. We also love their chilli sauce, we can eat up to three saucer of chilli sauce. their chilli sauce is sweetish sourish. Really good. 繼續閱讀

This stall whips out freshly fried or luak on the spot upon request. It is unusual to get a serving of $3 but here at Old Airport Road hawker center, you can. This is great for eaters who love varieties, like myself, as we won't have to see ourselves ordering a minimal $5 serving just to enjoy a different dish on our table. The ork luak is fried to crispiness yet not using an excess of oil. Oysters and beaten eggs are coated with a batter of flour, compared to some stalls that use mostly flour in their cooking but little ingredients. The fragrant dish is then garnished with chinese parsley. Overall it's not too bad, worth a try if you haven't. 繼續閱讀
