Fatt Soon Kueh has 2 branches, one at bedok and the other at bugis. I like that the skin of the kuehs are thin but it would be better if the filling is more! This is my first time trying the chives kueh and I must say that it is either you like or dont like it. For me, i don't like the taste as it is really literally filled with chives which is too overpowering for me. I like soon kuehs the best, which consist of turnip, carrots, dried shrimps and mushroom. 2 of them is peanut filling and 1 green bean filling (I suppose). Actually, I told the aunty that I wanted 2 peanut and 1 green tea, however I guess the aunty heard wrongly and packed in green bean instead :/ . This stall sells Soon Kueh (大笋粿), Ku-Chye Kueh (韭菜粿), Png Kueh (饭桃) and Ang Ku Kueh (红龟粿) at $2 for 3 pieces. Soon Kueh is filled with shredded turnip,and dried shrimps. With the minced dried shrimps and crunchy black fungus, it is quite tasty and flavourful.Ku-Chye Kueh is stuffed with chopped chives. Feels that the chives is not flavourful enough. Prefers some minced dried shrimps in it for added flavour.The skin of the Png kueh is made from Tapioca and Rice flour, with inside filled with glutinous rice, mushrooms, fried shallots , fried shrimps and peanuts. Fatt Soon Kueh sells mini soon kueh at I think 3 for $2; they also have mini rice kueh and ang ku kueh as well, which makes a good snack for afternoon tea. I got their soon kueh - the skin was alright, not too chewy or thick, and the amount of vegetables within is a lot. The soon kueh was also not too salty, and was rather flavourful even without chilli sauce or sweet sauce.…查看更多

The soon keuh sold is popular amongst residents staying at bedok and each soon kuek taste chewy and soft. Each soon kueh is wrapped with well stuffed vegetables and also sprinkled with black sesame seeds. the vegetables are not too salty and taste well with the wrapping outside.
