Tenderfresh chicken is always juicy and flavourful! Bought a full bbq chicken and two packets of rice to share with my family. The chicken is tender and with their chili sauce, it compliments the chicken really well! However, their rice which is yellow in colour was too dry and hard. Hence it was not really nice as there was no sauce over it. Didnt try their fried chicken though. Overall, although their prices increase over the years, their bbq chicken is delicious and worth it

I was not very hungry so wanted a light dinner. I got a fried chicken from this western food stall to share it with my mother. I went during dinner so have to wait. They fried the chicken when ordered so need to wait at least 15 minutes or longer. The size of chicken is quite big. They fried till very crispy. It did not taste oily. The fried chicken came with quite a lot of french fries but it turned soggy when i reach home.

I decided to try the grilled chicken chop from tenderfresh. it was pretty pricey for the serving they gave. i tried other food from their menu and it was much more worth it. the piece of the chicken was pretty small in size. they gave a bun and fries. i was still pretty much hungry despite my pretty small appetite. the chicken was grilled quite well, very tender and juicy. if only they increase the portion then it will be good.

I guess I can call myself a fan of tender fresh. Judging by how much food I buy from them, it is about time I tried everything on their menu. they simply just have so many food for you to choose from, you can just try something new every time. i think Tender Fresh is one of my favourite takeaway counter at Yew Tee Point basement. I ordered the chicken cutlet with rice. their chicken cutlet is really good, at least when you are lazy, you do not have to worry about removing bones. The meat is crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The rice is not the normal white rice but it is a yellow rice. It is kind of fragrant. they also have coslaw as well, I like their coslaw, very crunchy and refreshing.

I decided to give the grilled chicken leg with rice ($4.80) a try. The chicken leg was pretty large in size and it was very meaty. The chicken was grilled to perfection, it was not too tough nor was it too dry. the marinate that they coated the chicken tasted really good, a little sweetish, a little saltish. i ordered the teriyaki midjoint rice from tenderfresh. For a reasonable portion, I paid only $3.50. the teriyaki midjoint rice came with three pieces of midjoints, coslaw and yellow rice. the rice tasted pretty fragrant. the midjoints were marinated perfectly with teriyaki sauce, the teriyaki sauce was not too salty. the midjoint meat was not too tough. The coslaw was very light and refreshing. They did give quite a lot of rice, so it was pretty filling for me.

My mum cooked nuggets and fries for dinner. she got me to go to tenderfresh to buy their potato salad to go with her cooking. Tenderfresh sells really delicious potato salad. I hate those potato salad whose potato is too hard, but this was not the case for tenderfresh’s. there were chopped onions in the potato salad. The onions gave the salad some natural sweetness. The salad was also very light. It went really well with my mum’s nuggets and fries really completes the meal.

You can hardly find potato salad sold so readily nowadays. I was glad to find that tenderfresh sold ala carte potato salad, you dun have to go and eat western food to get it. Their potato salad is really good. the potato is cooked perfectly, very soft, then they mixed it with light sour cream sauce. i was buying dinner home when I passed by tenderfresh and saw that they actually old cheese fries. I am a huge fan of cheese fries and could hardly resist to the sinful temptation of this dish. I am impressed with the portion of the fries they gave me, for only $3, they really give you a whole Styrofoam box full. The fries was deep fried till golden brown, it was not too dried up. I bought a box of nasi lemak from tender fresh. The nasi lemak was rather reasonable priced, $2.80. There was one fish fillet, one piece of egg, one chicken wing and one cucumber. The fish fillet look a little dry but when you cut it, it was juicy on the inside despite being crispy on the outside. We had come to Yewtee point to do some shopping from NTUC and then the kids said they were feeling hungry and wanted to eat something. So I decided to by them a filling meal of Burgers. So I stopped at Tenderfresh to pick up 4 burgers for all four of us. The service there is quite good and the staff there are polite. I was craving for something with cheese and hence I bought a pack of cheese fries from the tender fresh store. I like to order from this store as they also serve with a generous serving of fries and their cheese and mayonnaise as well. The fries were freshly fried and were very juicy and tasty that you cant stop eating once you started. The cheese and mayonnaise that was topped on the fries gave both the sweet and savoury taste.
