I came by this store while going about West Coast Market deciding what to have for lunch. Spotting the vegetarian store first as it was located in the first outward facing row, I decided to try it.Not sure what to go for, I asked the owner what they would recommend and they told me I can try the fish beehoon. Freshly prepared, piping hot, it was a very comfroting bowl of soup beehoon. Was not disappointed!Sorry for the lack of photo as I only wished I took a photo of it half way through the meal

Sorry for the lack of photo as I only wished I took a photo of it half way through the meal haha.

Friendly owners and good solid food! Will be back again to try more dishes (I see quite alot of people ordering the olive fried rice so maybe next time!)

Decided for vegetarian food as the queue of Hup Seng Heng's was exceptionally short. Opted for its brown rice, instead of the plain or its bee hoon as it is whole grain and more nutritious than white rice as they are rich fibre and irons. I had selected 3 kinds of dish, mock char siew meat, toufu and bitter gourd together with its vegetarian style poh piah and it costs me S$3.60 in total. I had selected 3 kinds of dish, mock char siew meat, toufu and bitter gourd together with its vegetarian style poh piah and it costs me S$3.60 in total. The poh piah was cripsy and filled with stripes and stripes of juicy turnips in it. When served, the stall helpers would help us to cut them into small pieces. Dishes were warm and bitter gourd tastes rather bitter while the beancurds were cut into cubes and cooked in sweet tomato sauce together with mix beans.

This stall was recommended by my friend who is a vegetarian for their "C'zzar" food. When asked what they offer for their "czzar" section, they had name me a number of cooked dishes. I decided to ordered its Bee Hoon at S$3.00 a plate. The sauce of the bee hoon is light tasting and abit gluey paired with assorted vegetables, fungi and some mock sotong and meat. Most importantly, the dish is not oily and was cooked by order.I have ordered a poh piah and fried mock prawn separately and costs me S$

I have ordered a poh piah and fried mock prawn separately and costs me S$1.60, assuming each costs S$0.80. Tbe poh piah was cut into 4 smaller chunks are sweet and juicy! Fried to a golden perfection, they are very crispy and served warm.

Hup Seng Heng still operates during the 1st and 15th of the lunar calendar month and usually is seen packed with long long queues!
