The kid's meal (around $5) is very attractive. Looking at it will make any kid smile and whett up their appetite. The smiley potatoes are crispy and nice. But the fried salmon is not that good. Maybe the fish is not fresh, it taste quite weird and hard, not at all like salmon. My kid stop eating it after one bite. The sweet corn is crunchy and sweet. Not really a healthy kid's meal, as there are too many fried things and mayonaise. Oh, the meal also comes with a stamper, so will still appeal to kids.

Ebi Fry - $5.95. What I like about being a student is that I can enjoy meal at a slightly cheaper price haha. The student meal set in Yoshinoya comes with a glass of softdrink. For the ricebowl, I chose Ebi Fry. It consists of 3 pieces fried ebi, vegetables, and of course rice. The ebi was crunchy and well-seasoned. No complain for rice, veggies and drink. Everything was enjoyable.

I have never been to Yoshinoya before and my colleague recommended that I order their beef bowl which he said was quite good. The beef bowl had very thinly sliced beef and besides beef, there is also a serving of vegetables together with the beef on the bowl. I must say the beef is tender because it is sliced very thinly. It is also very tasty and I love the onions as well! I normally do not like onions but I find the onions here to be very nice as it had absorbed the seasoning of the beef and it is now very soft and without the stinging taste. The beef bowl is rather filling because of the rice and I wasn't hungry all the way from lunch until dinner.

Normally, fast food and healthy food cannot be linked together until I discovered this Japanese Bowl Rice. It provides a balanced diet which was wholesome, hearty and nutritious meal. It was decent rice in bowl, scrumptious crispy deep-fried bread crumbs fish with drizzle of Mayonnaise on top. Served along with premium Japanese Rice and veggies, the combination was so perfect. The portion was not sufficient for me if it considered a proper lunch or dinner, I treated it as side course usually. $6.00 for one bowl size, or you may made it a complete set with add on another $1.90 for soup and cold beverage.

Usually come here will eat their rice set but this time I tried their potatoes set, which comes with Waffle Fries, smiley face potatoes and croquettes. They fried till very crispy, I love the smiley face potatoes because they are very cute and yummy! This set goes well with the mayo sauces, love it. Environment was quiet when I went, so I had a peaceful tea time here. Service was okay, just that i find that price a bit expensive.
