We ordered the serving for two ($9) and it came with standard braised items like pork belly, innards, Tau pok (fluffy fried bean curd), eggs, fish cakes and salted vegetable. The “Kway” was smooth and has a soft texture, the interesting part was the sauce added into the bowl of “kway”, it tasted sweet with a touch of cinnamon flavour. This is the first time we’ve ever tasted sweet kway chap and honestly, because it’s so different from what have come to expect, we are are not sure if we can accept it yet…The assortment of braised items score well for their excellent taste and texture, we especially like the melt-in-your-mouth braised pork. The innards did not have the porky smell and go very well with the chili sauce as well. The Chili sauce is worth a special mention, as it comes with a perfect balance of sweetness and sourness accompanied by the right level of spiciness. The FoodI ordered a plate of mixed ingredients like tau pok, salted vegetables, pig intestines and lor bak with 2 bowls of kway. I find that the Kway can be even better if the soup is thicker and tastier. They can also add fried spring onions to make it even more fragrant. The salted vegetables are not too salty and I find it just nice. The tau pok is nicely absorbed with the dark stewed sauce. As for the pig intestines, it is stewed till it's nice, chewy and soft. It has been cleaned thoroughly hence does not have any strong porky taste. Lastly, the lor bak is highly recommended as the taste is heavenly. The lor bak is stewed till it's so soft that even the layer of fat just dissolve in my mouth. The PriceReasonably priced at $4 with 2 bowls of "Kway". OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! 繼續閱讀

FoodWe ordered the ingredients only as side dishes. Interesting "spare parts" for lunch. Intestines were braised thoroughly and there were no trace of foul smell which is good. Tau pok were filled with the braised gravvy - it was not that salty as some other stalls. 3 Layers meat were good and tender.ServiceI love the way ingredients can be chosen by customers - they use the tongs provided and place what they like on the plate. After which when food is heated up by the helper, they will be served to our table.AmbiencePacked with people especially during lunch hours.Pricemarket standard kind of pricing.Recommendations / TipsBraised dish is good! Typical scene at Lunch Time: Diners will be running towards their cars once the coffee boy alert of the parking attendant's arrival. And when the attendant leaves, the drivers will return back to their seats...all this just to save 50cents hahaha. Back to the food, my mixed set came with tau pok, small intestines, big intestines, lor bah and fishcake. It did not come with kiam cai at first so i ordered another $1 plate. The soup is to the salty side and is darker in color compared to the norm. The soup tasted good and i actually finished the kway chap ahead of the food. The chilli sauce offered seems to go really well with the "not typically smelly" spare parts. Thumbs up for a good eat, will return to try the prawn noodle stall. 繼續閱讀

Ordered a person portion, but hey! It's enough even for 2 person!Pig innate are well braised and no funny smell.gravy were thick and more flavoury (maybe it's getting late and it've absorb the essence for braise meat for the whole day).Definitely one of the better stall in the entire kopitiam. 繼續閱讀
