My husband and i decided to have a quick dinner at Ajisen Ramen at Changi City Point last Saturday night. We took advantage while the place was not crowded, it meant faster service for us. We had 2 sets of ramen which came with side dishes and drinks of our choice. Hubby picked chicken teriyaki ramen and fried prawn as side dish while I ordered seafood ramen and gyoza as side dish.We were both satisfied with the food and service. I highly recommend their chocolate pudding which we had for dessert. I initially wanted to try the green tea icecream pancake but I didn't regret choosing the pudding in the end as it was very smooth, silky and yummy. Perfect way to end a ramen meal.

Changi City Point has a few factory outlet shops and it's very spacious. There's not a lot of crowding here so shopping or window-shopping will be a pleasant experience. We were at Ajisen Ramen and we ordered their Tonkotsu Ramen and Teriyaki Ramen. As for the Tonkotsu Pork Ramen, Rina is not a fan of beansprouts, but overall the taste of the soup is very light but wished there were more pork. The Teriyaki Chicken Ramen is very tasty as I loved the teriyaki sauce in it. The vegetables and eggs that paired together with it balanced the taste nicely. This place is nice and quiet, with a good view for people watching at Changi City Point. The staff are friendly and attentive. We received the dishes within 5 - 10 mins.

Today lunch was so special! We decided to try out the kid's meal! Well, it was unusual for an adult to try out kid's meal! But you are really attracted with their plate. Anyway, I am on diet, so the portion for kids will suit me more. At least I can finished the whole plate without wasting food. When the food was served, we are really excited to try it. However, I was quite disappointed with the standard. Actually is all fried food, but the chicken was so hard to chew on, i wonder how a child can finish it. The prawn was nice, but i think it should be served hot instead! The egg and rice was not special. Well, i had to say the serving plate was nice, but there is difficult for children to scoop properly, so i think they should change their plate, if possible! On top of that, i think the price is quite reasonable $6.90 with a cup of ice lemon tea!

Spicy Cha Shu ramen, one recommended ramen on the menu by the chef. The cha shu is nice because they use lean meat instead of those that has oily skin. Though the ramen is nice but not recommended to take it everyday as the chilli makes the ramen looks oily and with the amount of MSG that is added you need to drink lots of water after that.

Decided to have this Ajisen Ramen for dinner. After went through the menu, I decided to ordered Volcano Ramen. First sip, it was not really spicy so I threw few dip of chilli oil to make the ramen a little more spicy. Texture of their noodles was smooth and firm but a little bit spicy. The bean sprouts were generous but did not overwhelm. The char siew was quite chewy and tender. The egg was like ordinary hard boil egg. Overall, the ramen was average.
