Mei Heong Yuen Dessert (已結業)

This mango sago is one of the signature dessert from Mei Heong Yuen. It is very delicious and not so sweet. This dessert is the must eat item if you pay a visit to Mei Heong Yuen. The combination of mango and pomelo are just great, i like the sweet yet sour taste. The portion is quite big as well, the price is fairy reasonable too.

Desserts at Mei Heong Yuen taste really good and I love the wide variety of selection that they offer. I ordered the steamed milk which costs $3. The steam milk was smooth and silky and the flavour tasted just right, without being too sweet. The shop could get cozy with the wooden seats when it's less crowded, though the shop is very crowded at times.

Didn't take much notice of this shop everytime I pass by Ion Orchard... So on a very very very very humid day, I went to try this dessert shop out.And I found the love of my life.It's a very generous portion for just $5.50 and I shared it with a friend. You can taste how "fresh" it is and its really good. It's neither too sweet nor bland, just right. perfect if you are craving for some ice cream and does not want to consume for calories. A nice alternative ehh~

Freezing! That would be the word i would use to describe how i felt after eating the mango shaven ice from Mei Heong Yuen at ION orchard. They also have an outlet over at chinatown!
