Choosing a place where there ISN'T a Q on this particular weekday night, was this Japanese resto Watami.My two friends were dying of hunger while I snacked away as I've eaten previously.They ordered the regular set meal with all the Japanese things while I ordered french fries bucket (of all places, I know. My friend highly recommended we order the Chicken Katsu Tamago Toji. After tasting it, I was sold. This dish is basically deep fried chicken cutlet on hot plate but the special thing is that the dish has a beaten egg accompanying it and we are supposed to add the egg to the hot plate, let it cook a little and then treat the egg like a sauce and dip the chicken! being a lazy person, i always do not like to think of what to eat so watami's set menu is good for me because it reduces my trouble of selecting the food and i enjoy all the dishes included also. watami is definitely one of my favourite japanese restaurant, it has large variety of food and the taste is great too. i also like their yuzu soda, is not too sweet and quite thirst quenching =)

watami is my girlfriend's favourite japanese restaurant and personally i quite like it too because there are a large variety of food to choose from and most of them taste great. they have set menu for two and four people are quite a steal, the dishes included have quite a large variety and is definitely filling. my favourite food are the pizza and sashimi platter, the thin crust pizza is just so nice and the wafu salad is great too

This is absolutely the best bibimbap in town!! A definite must-try, goes especially well with hungry stomachs because it will certainly satisfy your hunger pangs in a blink of an eye. An indescribable sense of contentment overwhelmed me the first time I put that spoonful of mixed rice in my mouth. We were having an old pals gathering and was sourcing for a dinner place where we can sit and chat when we came across this Jap restuarant.We were shown to our seat after waiting for around 5mins. The restuarant interior is rather big and with about 30% empty seats.The first experience with the waitress is when taking our orders. The resturant employs Philippinos for the job and this lady serving us has problem taking down the names of the dishes.. I ordered a pot rice stated 20min waiting time.

Had lunch with my buddy over the weekend at this place. i love the sashimi is watami. Went there with my hubby and kids for a sumptuous meal and I ordered their sashimi to share. their sashimi is very fresh, it simply melts in your mouth. You can really taste the freshness of the sashimi. Dipped with soya sauce and wasabi, it is indeed heavenly!

I went for a school gathering at watami. I simply love the food at watami. They use only the freshest ingredients and their food are cooked to perfection! I ordered their salmon rice. It came in a bibimbap stone bowl. This helps to keep the rice warmer for a longer period of time. The salmon they used are very fresh, you can even taste the sweetness of it. i love the fish roe, gives it an extra crunch! A contrast in texture!

We were at Watami during tea time and it was fortunately not too crowded . I tried their mango pudding dessert and it was just average. The mango pudding was a little too sweet probably because of the layer of syrup at the top of the pudding. The pudding was toppled with passion fruit slices and some seeds from a dragon fruit. Service was alright as the staffs greeted us when we entered and left the place. They were quick to take our orders too.

Dining experience at Watami was indeed a relaxing and an enjoying one as promised. The restaurant was prominently located at the basement of Raffles City. I went there with a friend and I ordered the salmon stone pot with rice and fried camembert cheese. Both taste great and yummy. I usually always order these two dishes whenever I’m at Watami. It was one of those rare days that I lunched in town. Happened to chance upon Watami in Raffles city. It was pretty crowded during lunch hours but I didn't have to wait for seats at all. Which was good. They serve different lunch sets. My colleague and I ordered Pork cutlets with scramble egg.The set cost about $9.80. Not too expensive at all. It was served on claypot and the servers will pour the beaten egg upon request. You can decide how you want the egg to be cooked. Once ready, you can tu
