their food never fail to amaze me.. the taste is really nice and large variety of dishes to select from. the katsu chicken is really tender and not too oily..the combo set for 2 and 4 people are really value for money & portion is really large to share among afew friends. however the queue is always long during meal time so have to be early to avoid the crowd

Watami okonomiyaki rice cake. I didn't really like it honestly. It tasted rather chewy and tasteless at the bottom. Somewhat like "muah chee" just that in this case it is pan fried. The sauce at the top was too little making the entire thing too dry to my liking. Will never order this dish again.

my girlfriend and i suddenly developed a strong craving for sashimi as we were chatting with our friends about their japan trip. when the outing ended, we headed to watami for some sashimi. the sashimi at watami is really fresh and juicy. the salmon simply melts in your mouth. there is no fishy taste, just merely smooth and refreshing. when dip with the wasabi and soya sauce, it is really delicious. no wonder watami always comes to our mind whenever we are craving for nice sashimi!

I visited this place not long when they first opened as I had tried their restaurant in Hong Kong and I simply love it and was glad they came to Singapore. I gave here a second chance after many raves from one of my bestie. She recommended me their Salmon rice. It came in a stone bowl like those from Korea. You have to mix it fast or else the bottom will be burnt. I like the crispy rice at the sides of the bowl. It was indeed delicious! There are roes, salmon and seaweed. Every bite, i can feel the roe bursting. Nice!!! Not only that, their service seem to have improve. Good job! I'll return again =)

Choose your food wisely here as not all are nice! I guess their hotplate items and pizzas are the most popular dishes as i see most of the tables had that. I had claypot rice with mushrooms and hotplate scallops. It's quite salty for the rice but still, i like the way it taste. Very fragrant and delicious. The scallops were fresh, hot and tasty too. Ordered a Tempera vegetables which taste very normal, which is not crispy enough however it is not too oily. The soya sauce goes very well with the tempera vegetable. Jasmine green tea. I had the 2 person set ($49) and 3 of us shared it and found the portion good enough even for three! The portions were very big and generous. The taste is great as well. The only thing I would complain about is the long queues but then again, if it ain't good, I wouldn't have to queue right? This is singapore after all. I love the salmon sashimi served at Watami – Ion Orchard. It is really fresh and the slices of salmon are thick as well. It costs $8.80++ per plate. The price is considered quite cheap for the amount of sashimi serving as compared to other restaurants. The taste of salmon sashimi is great when eaten together with wasabi, great combination. My Hubby and I visited Watami ION Orchard to have our dinner . Food is good, price i think okie but service abit disappointed. i was asking for some warm water but did not serve to us. I have asked a few watiers but none of them bother to serve us. My hubby had to go and self-help himself. I was wondering is it because the staff are part-timers but I really hope they can improve their service by paying mor attention to the customer's need.

Everytime I go to watami, I will never fail to order their crab and scallop with cream and the mango yakult drink! The crab and scallop they use are really fresh, they taste really sweet due to theirs freshness. I love the breaded coating, very crispy, yet the seafood still managed to lock in their moisture. The mango yakult is really yummy, a total thirst quencher. It is not too sweet, the mango flavour is really strong. It goes really well with the crab and scallop dish.

This not even half consumed bowl of noodle taste really awful! The sashimi which consist of prawns, salmon and cuttlefish, they are all super not fresh!!! Yet no wasabi and soup spoon was given. Really poor service. The soup actually taste like the "Yu Sheng" we all consume during Chinese New Year!

I love Watami for their affordable food and fabulous service!!! Visit their restaurant twice! And for this time,I got an invitation for FREE FOOD TASTING!~!~!~ The food tasting was held at the ION outlet, I could bring a friend along. As usual, we were greeted by the friendly service crews. =) We were served 1 drink , 4 dishes and 1 dessert to be shared between the 2 of us. The drink >>> Passion Fruit Green Tea.
