I headed for dinner with a group of friends the previous week and we went to Watami. With a big group, we ordered 2 of the same sets but with different side dishes as well as a few other ala carte items.I think the set is more economical than ordering ala carte and you get to share and try different items. zeppin soup konbu dashi chanko nabe (with udon) there were pork, chicken and seafood in it. portion was quite a lot. the soup tasted average though. the refilling of soup was done promptly when there were not much soup in it.watami saladthe dressing was really good and i love the egg on top, when mixed together with the salad, tasted really good especially when the yolk's wet.sashimi moriawase 3 kinds of assorted sashimi - prawns, salmon and scallop. the scallop was good and it was mildly sweet.

Beside sushi tei, Watami is my next favorite japanese restaurant as they serve affordable and yummy food. I'm back again to this place and this time round I've tried out different dishes. I love the teppanyaki here, its a Japanese omelette with pork and cabbage in it. I love the okonomiyaki sauce that is topped on top, makes it very tasty Next, the beef cubes are very tender and chewy. and my favorite gotta be the scallops!! very fresh and deeply fried. From my experience, Watami's food and service never fail to please us. A great lunch to do the work of the day. Filling your tummy with good that would do you good. For this meal, I think I have been overfilling my tummy that it almost exploded. We went to eat our dinner at Watami at JCube and here's the dish that we ordered. It consists of toufu, chicken, vegetables, pork slices, clams and very yummy soup base, which we ordered a bowl of rice each to accompany our main dish. The nice mixture of soup and the ingredients certainly brings out a special taste when you take the first few sips of the soup base. I love the watami salad! At $9.90, I felt is it quite worth of its price. The salad consist of some grilled chicken meat which is really tender and well flavoured, as well as greens like broccoli, corn, cabbage, mini cherry tomatos. The heap of whitish stuff at the top is the mayo tuna which combines the greens and the chicken meat wonderfully in terms of taste and textures. We had lunch set meals at Watami! Trust me, their lunch set meals are worth it. Cheap & good. Ordered beef bibimbap - tasty as usual. Loves the Iced Yuzu Soda! Another must try is the crispy potato mentai pizza! It only costs $9.90. You will fall in love with this like my other colleagues too! They have other dishes too like the kimchi hotpot, tuna vege salad which are also worth the try!

First time trying out that restaurant at my temporary workplace! The food was reasonably priced, environment peaceful and they had good service staff. Their set meals for 2 cost only $59 and it had everything from main meals to desserts.I ordered the student meal which was something like beef rice with a cold poached egg. So yummy! The staff there were really efficient too but abit messed up. Overall, i had a good experience and wouldn't mind going back there a second time!

Watami's hot pot is quite nice.Hot pot: Beef baseThere are quite much of ingredients,tofu,beef,vege,mushroom...The soup is normal ok,it taste more like the soy sauce from japan.I thought it will taste very nice,so quite disappointed about it.But the environment there is really good.Suitable for gathering and the waitress there are also very kind and friendly.

This dish certainly is full of different types of nutritional value such as omega three from the salmon fish and also lots of vitamins and calcium contents from the melted cheese topped on it. The salmon fish is quite thick in portion and the fish meat is very fresh and juicy. The added melt cheese certainly has enhanced the flavour of it and make it even more appetitizing and looks appearing as well. Delicious and value for money!

I am a big fan of milk tea with pearls and this is my first time having this favourite drink in a Japanese restaurant. Was really shock and happy to see a very tall glass of milk tea serve to me. The portion is very generous and good to share with another partner. However I feel that too much ice cubes have been added into this drink which make the texture of it quite diluted and the taste to be quite bland as well. The black big pearls are also quite tough in texture and abit difficult to ch
