I went to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks at around 9 plus to get myself a bowl of their oyster mee sua. i was so lucky, the auntie told be she only have one bowl left, but after checking the pot, she said the mee sua is only enough to fill about three quarter so she offered to give me more ingredients to make up the difference. as i am not really a big eater, i thought it was fine. she practically emptied the entire container of shredded chicken in, gave me five oysters instead of three. i was pretty much filled up by the shredded chicken. i felt the gravy of the mee sua was really good, i asked for extra chilli and vinegar, i think it gave the mee sua more flavour.…查看更多

There was still some time to dinner time so I got myself a pack of Shihlin XXL chicken to snack on. I like the batter they use to coat the chicken, very crispy. However it gets separated very easily from the meat. I think the auntie was a little too generous with the chilli powder. Each piece is practically coated with chilli powder, making the chicken a little spicy. But as a whole the meat was very tender and juicy.…查看更多

Shihlin Taiwan's Mee Sua is DELICIOUS!!The thick flavourful gravy together with the slurpy mian xian taste yummy! The oysters given is also fresh and juicy. Though it may be a big portion, you can definitely eat at least 3/4 of the bowl in no time!! (that's what happened to me) haha~Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks also sell the Big, Fried Chicken Cutlet that taste somewhat like the actual ones in Taiwan, and other snacks like the cheese crepes and sweet potato fries!! Brought a bowl of the oyster mee sua for lunch. This bowl of oyster mee sua contain ingredients such as the oyster, shredded chicken, mee sua and chopped coriander. The gravy of the mee sua is thick and the mee sua is well cooked and has a soft texture. The gravy of the mee sua is well seasoned, not too salty, mild spicy and pepper taste with added vinegar and chili paste. The oyster given is fresh, big and juicy. However, the shredded chicken is too finely chopped and would recommend them to slice it instead to provide a better texture.
