Used to be very popular in the past... but the taste is not as good as before anymore. The skin is a lot thicker now and size of the gyoza also smaller. Size aside, the skin is thicker and less chewy. As for the filling, flavour is the same but there is a tinge of pork smell.. I dislike it.Commendable part is the sliced ginger.. I am rather particular about this.. most hawker places serve really coarse strips of ginger.. the ginger here are julienned to very thin strips ... good!

I often come here to book my holiday tours. It gets real crowded so be prepared to squeeze or bump shoulders a little. This place gets a little stuffy at times, with crowds of old uncles aunties and PRCs. Sometimes it can get dirty due to the lack of manpower and overwhelming crowd.We order Fried Dumplings. It was fast delivery upon payment. But we needed to queue for quite a while. The delicious fried dumplings has additional kick when dipped into vinegar. Some parts of the dumpling skins were a little too thick in my opinion but overall it's great.

I normally prefer steamed dumplings to fried ones, but I decided to try this out when I saw so many people queuing up. It is dished in plates of 10 dumplings per plate. The dumplings are only fried upon ordering, so this helps to guarantee freshly made hot dumplings. I must admit this dumplings are very good. It is crispy on the outside and the fillings inside are very delicious as well. The fillings consist of minced pork and chives, and the proportion is just right too, not too many chives nor pork. Everyone at the table loved this dish.

My personal long time favourite. I have been patronising during the days when I was only a few years old and till todate, the taste has not change and still maintained as authentic as what it has been for the last 25 years...Serving dumplings in boiled and deep fried mode, the fillings are generous with absolute flavorful taste that will detonate your mind away. The fragrance of the chives, the freshness on the pork and the thin dumplings that packed all juices will take you to new grounds.For those that wish for authentic dumpling taste and texture...Fong Kee is the one!
