Bought Set 3 nasi lemak from Qi Ji at Nex on a weekday evening. The place was crowded as it was dinner time so had to takeaway. Service was quite efficient. Only waited for about 10 minutes. Asked for more sambal chilli as I love its sweet and spicy combination. Also liked the rice and chicken. The ikan bilis and and fried peanuts were still crispy even after reaching home.Overall, the nasi lemak was good and I liked it but too pricey for that quantity. Will only eat this once in a while.  繼續閱讀

I had craving for mee rebus so decided to buy my dinner at Qiji. I like their Mee Rebus $3.90, the gravy is thick and flavorful, had a good consistent texture that isn't too thick or too watery. This dish comes with a full hard boil egg cut into half...instead of half an egg that we usually see at other stalls. I also ordered a Tauhu goreng $3.80 with thick peanut sauce. They gave a generous serving of cucumber strips...nice 繼續閱讀

Had never tried their Nasi Lemak before. Was recommended by my friend and decided to try it with her ;DThe price are acceptable at $4-$5 for the Nasi Lemak.Order the set 2 which costs $4, and includes the otah, fish cake, ikan billis, fried egg and fish. There was a long queue but it was going at quite a fast speed. Food are served almost immediately after ordering too.The portion is acceptable and it’s quite filling after finishing it.The rice is fragrant but the taste is not very strong. The otah is soft and not too spicy. The fishcake, ikan billis and fried egg is normal. The fish is quite nice and does not have too strong of the fishy taste. All of it complements pretty well with each other and overall it is quite delicious The price is also acceptable with 4/5 ingredients to go with the rice at $4.However recently the price have gone up for their main dishes just a few days after I ate it, it is now at $4.20. 繼續閱讀

Qiji popiah is one of the best I have Eaten! Despite having many outlets the quality has always been maintained! The popiah is filled tightly with turnips and also has lots of crunchy bits for contrast in texture. The turnip filling is juicy and flavourful, while the peanuts add extra flavour and fragrance. The skin is chewy and resilient and holds the filling well. Even when taken away and left for awhile, the popiah doesn't become soggy and the skin holds up well, not soaking through. 繼續閱讀

Merlion Wayfarer chose Qi Ji today - because she needed a place to sit and because she still felt nationalistic (It's still the fortnight after National Day!) to support local food. At S$4 for a platter (Hmmm... She distinctly remembered it could have been cheaper just a while ago?), each platter was well-loaded with the usual Nasi Lemak "goodies" - FRIED Egg, FRIED Chicken Sausage, Fried Ikan Bilis, FRIED Chicken Wing, FRIED PEANUTS, FRIED Fish Cake, PROCESSED Otah. Hiak hiak!Of course, the Otah ain’t Lee Wee’s standard (Ooops Merlion Wayfarer took in some non-Qi Ji food!). But other than that, the rest was just wickedly not-bad…..
