I was thinking what I want to have for lunch, not that hungry and so I decide to go Qi Ji for something not too heavy.I ordered the popiah and I find their popiah yummy, the popiah skin is not thick and soft, the filling is fragrant and wet and can taste the sweet sauce in it. The chilli enhance the taste further, nice.I saw people having chee cheong fun and decide to order one to try too, the chee cheong fun is nice too. I opt to have mine with only sweet sauce, their sweet sauce is nice, not too sweet and the chee cheong fun is smooth and soft, nice... 繼續閱讀

I was with my manager when we are done with our appointment, however, we need something fast to pack and head back to office. We passed by QiJi, it was not really a long queue but the staff there is kind of slow. My manager and I waited about 5 mins then the staff asked me what I wanted.Pretty disappointing with with the service. Overall, the food is quite tasty. I order Set 7, with Otah, cripsy chicke, egg, rice and ikan billies! Their chilli, not bad! Pretty nice! 繼續閱讀

The place is perpetually crowded and seats are generally hard to come-by. Good thing though, customers rarely stay long. They eat and they go off. The service staff I've encountered in most Qiji outlets are disgruntled Chinese foreigners. Rather bad service attitudes I have to say. Not just a few of them, but almost ALL I've met. I'm still patronising Qiji, because of the food and sometimes, lack of choices. No doubt, their Mee Siam and Nasi Lemak are their best sellers. I love them too. One (very hot) otah, a chicken wing pair, some ikan bilis and peanuts, flattened scrambled egg, cucumber and a minute serving of nasi lemak… all for S$4.The chicken wing was well fried topped on fragrant coconut rice.Their chilli... powerful. Don't try if you can't stomach the heat.Pricey? Well, its considered reasonable for a 'branded' eatery. 繼續閱讀

I love Qiji's popiahs. Although it is much more expensive than what I can get from most hawker centres, it is really worth its price. The popiahs are much 'fatter' and each popiah is full of goodness of the mang guang, peanuts, egg etc. Each roll is very compact as well with all the ingredients threatening to spill out at any moment and yet somehow the skin can hold all of it in. Overall, this is really the popiah to try if you havent. 繼續閱讀
