Famous Traditional Taiwanese Snacks was sold here, why don’t you give it a try?For quick bite, I ordered two Braised Eggs to waive off my cravings. Scratched off the shell, the surface of egg was in brown colour, obviously soaked by savory herbs and spices gravy. It was nice, tasty and with light seasoning flavour. I ate them along with Taiwanese chilli, more than enough to satisfy my tastebuds.

If you like authentic Chinese food in general, you might keen on Taiwanese Braised Pork too. The taste of the whole was amazingly impressive. Served along with the stewed hardboiled egg, the pork chop was smooth and not oily at all. It would be better if the chef took chewy Taiwan Ramen instead of local thick meehoon if for the dish. I like the bean paste, it added point to the noodles. $4.50 for mine, or else you may make it a complete set with add on $0.60 for a standard drink.

Ordered this Mee Sua Set Meal at one of the stalls in Food Republic. This Set Meal costs about $8.60 and it comes with a bowl of Mee Sua, one Tea Leaf Egg, one glass of Ice Milk Tea and a packet of Fried Chicken Cutlet. I think this Set Meal is pretty affordable since it comes with many side dishes as well. The portion of Mee Sua given was more than sufficient and it was soft and smooth as well. At first plan to order pork chop noodle for takeaway, but is not available. So order pork rib noodle as suggest by the staff. Currently there is a 10% discount on ala carte items. For takeaway, I am charged an additional 20 cents for takeaway box. Pork Rib Noodle (usual : $4.50)The rib is very tender and with soft bone parts.
