I have tried before normal laksa and katong laksa but claypot laksa seems kind of rare. This stall is quite famous as it was previously from Depot road and now at Alexandra Village. The thick aroma of coconut milk can be smelled even before you eat it. It's thick and rich and the claypot preserve the hotness making it extra shiok to eat. One can choose to have small, medium or large serving. Remember to drink lots of water after finishing this dish as I can feel my throat getting a bit sore when I finish this dish. It's irresistible.

It's not a uncommon sight to see crowd hovering at this stall during the lunch hours.

We are used to having laksa in a conventional bowl regardless of penang, peranakan and katong or whatever styled laksa.

What about claypot laksa? - It's my first time trying this as well.

Priced at $3.50, its consider inexpensive for a claypot dish but above the norm price of normal laksa.

The gravy is very thick and rich, as compare to normal laksa - it's a rather different experience.
Although thick, its not as jelut as it might seem.
The claypot consistently kept the gravy warm until your very last sip. The spiciness and the adequate note of dried shrimps blended well to the fragrance of the laksa leaf.
Every sip of the gravy had a nice savoury punch on my palate.
