Ipoh Lou Yau not only sell Hor Fun and Chicken, they also sell braised pork!I had ordered braised pork noodle to have a try.The sauce of braised pork noodle was very fragrant, smelled something like Kway Chap. There was braised pork, tau pok, tau gua and egg in this dish. All of them were braised in the same dark braised sauce. The pork used was those three layer pork, same as those Lor Mee. The braised pork tasted very braised and full of flavour. Overall, the dish was similar to Kway Chap, except no intestine. Hopefully next time they sell intestine also since their braised sauce taste great.查看更多

Nowadays Malaysian Food has became a fave, there are many eatery with Malaysia theme. Here in IMM, there was this Ipoh Hor Fun Cafe opened not long ago. During meal times, this Ipoh Hor Fun Cafe was quite popular with diners. I had ordered their Chicken Ipoh Horfun. The Chicken tasted liked Singapore Hainanese Steamed Chicken. The meat was tender and skin was slippery smooth. The bean spourt tasted quite normal, it does not looked like from Ipoh those fatty bean spourt. The Hor Fun was slippery and springy, but the soup was a bit bland. Their chilli was fiery hot, do take note not to scoop too many.查看更多

I have been wanting to try kampong chicken rice since last year. Caught me by surprise, Ipoh Lou Yau Bean Sprouts Chicken was actually located in IMM Building. ServiceAs I walked passed, the auntie was very polite and friendly and ask if we want to try out. She keep on saying thank you as we agreed and walked in. Even when we leave the place, she greeted us again. This dinning experience is above average.Menu was given to us as we settled ourselves in the eating place. Proper instructions were given and we proceeded to the counter to order the food. Number cards are given to us and our food are served shortly. The pale & yellowish chunky pieces of poached chicken was served. I eagerly dig in shortly. The tasty chicken was drenched with light soy sauced and garnished with coriander. Not oily and I wont feel especially sinful after this meal.Cost: S$9.50 (2 Pax Portion)These ipoh noodle are thin, slippery & silky which is so easy to swallow down the throat. Together with the fried shallots, sweet sauce and tasty chicken, I'm glad that I have chosen noodle over the rice. The rice are quite plain and have not much of the usual chicken rice smell. If you enjoy having the chicken oil fragrance on the rice, you can give this a miss. Cost: $1.60 (Noodles) & $1.20 (rice)The Xi Dao Fish Balls are smooth and elegant. The soup base is special, taste of either dried squid or dried scallops. Quite special.Cost: S$5.00AmbienceNot alot of customers in the Ipoh Lou Yau as there are many available dining place in IMM and business are quite competitive.PriceS$17.30 for a meal is quite an average cost.Recommendations / TipsChoose the Ipoh Hor Fun (Rice Noodle) over the rice!查看更多
