I have been eating a lot at bukit batok as my girlfriend has a couple of tutee staying there and I will fetch her when she ends her tuition. This time we went to this coffee shop and ordered their hor fun and the stir fry baby kai lan. Their hor fun was not too bad, the gravy was really tasty, when they served us, it was piping hot and some of the egg bits were still cooking in the hot gravy. The kway teow is really smooth and best eaten with the hot gravy. They were very generous with their ingredients like fish cake and vegetables. Their stir fry baby kai lan was not too bad, it was tasty and not much sauce, the baby kai lan was cooked just right, it was very crunchy. as a whole it was not too bad.

It is one of the zhi char coffee shop near my house, I heard they change cook that why I went to check it out, I am utterly disappoint with them. I ordered this hokkien mee and it took me 30minutes to wait for me. The coffee shop was not that crowded too. Lastly the hokkien mee arrived and it is not that hot, I think someone has misplaced it. Well, the hokkien mee was very soggy and the sauce is too blend, not that nice anymore. I actually will still prefer the previous cook. I don’t think I will patronize this stall anymore.

This dish is so call "new" dish which recommend by the staff. The taste was bit funny as is including of Tofu, mushroom, carrot, chicken cube, mini cone n more of it. But the most special of the tofu is the MongGu sauce in it. It's don really to my like. The price is quite unreasonable as compare to hot-plate tofu.Mong
