My friends and I was at Haibin (Jurong Bird Park) having a prawning session and about 3plus we left the place and was deciding where to have breakfast. My boyfriend suggested to have breakfast at 126 wen dou sek. It was really a good breakfast to start, usually I would head to another dim sum restaurant at geylang too but I'm open for new choice. So we went ahead. It was pretty full house over there however, we managed to get a table in like 10 minutes. We order just 6 dishes but we order 2 sets

The unique thing about the sugarcane, it's placed in a Tupperware. The porridge is a little tasteless and the century egg was hard. However, the custard bun was really good, thick and sweet. Totally melt me deep inside. The hakau can be better because the wrapping is easily tear and the prawn a little hard bu the combination was okay. The chee cheong fun was the best, awesome. It taste sweet and salty at the same time however, the portion was small so we ordered 2. the prawns were sweet. If I'm not wrong, their dimsum is cook on hand and serve straight. Good service. Overall, I feel that it's not bad. Worth trying and the wt tissue is chargeable at 20 cent per piece. Do check your bill before paying, my total bill was $37.40.

Today, we suddenly have the urge for dim sum again! Here we are at 126 Wen Dou Sek 揾到食 for dim sumIt was packed with people all out to the tables at the streets outside the stall. I couldnt remember what is the sauce name already but it is super thick and creamy! We felt that the staff had laid too much sauce on the tofu and it had covered the original taste of the tofu already. Nevertheless, it is still very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Thats what people always say 外脆内软.
A must try here!

This is the my favourite dish among all! I super love the sauce coming along with this dish and it is so soft that i couldnt pick up with my chopsticks.
surprisingly fresh too ;)

It is open till the wee hours and you will never be afraid of getting hungry in the middle of the night ;)

This meat pau consists of pork meat, mushrooms, thin slice of chinese sausages, leek and half of an egg!when mixed together it has a very nice fragrance Especially, THE MUSHROOMS! besides that the pau skin is quite thick but the ingredient inside are well balance.Will be back for more dim sums!

besides that the pau skin is quite thick but the ingredient inside are well balance.

Fir dim sum you may try to dine in at 126 wen dou sek , due to wide variety of dim sum to choose from e.g chee cheong fun , chicken feet , lor mai kai , siew mai , kar gao etc .we like the chee cheong fun with the sauce , the chee cheong fun is smooth and without much biting melt in your mouth . the siew mai have generous filling of meat , it is soft and tender. THe lor mai kai is soft and tasty

Prawn Dumplings (S$3.20), better known as Har Gau is also a must-try when it comes to dim-sum. A good Har Gau's wrapping must be thin and translucent, yet be sturdy enough not to break when picked up nor stick to the paper. Wrapped together with the right amount of fillings, this dish clearly demonstrates the chef's skills. Pretty impressive.

The only dish that gave me a slight disappointment was the Fried Seafood Rolls (S$4.00). It is excessively oily and I have expected the skin to be crispier. The filling was okay though.

Every visit, my father will surely order the Chicken Feet (S$2.50). The sauce which comes with the item achieved a perfect balance of thickness and sweetness and complemented the chicken feet well.

We had their Char Siew Cheong Fun (S$3.50), roasted pork wrapped in rice noodle roll, which came in both steam and fried styles. However, the sauce on the steamed version was a little too salty for my taste.

We ordered some assorted porridge to go with those savoury treats. Their signature Claypot Frog Porridge (S$5.00) is my favourite among the three. The generous amount of frog meat is soft and tender, yet preserving it's springy texture.

Try out their Honey Lemon (S$2.50) with jelly bits too. One drinks it out from a big "take-away" container instead of the usual cups, definitely one of the must tries as well.

Opened 24 hours daily, 126 Eating House is a place not to be missed for your dim-sum fixes.

The total bill was about $27++ which is quite reasonable for such good food!!!

The char siew bao bun was very soft and smooth, the char siew sauce inside was simply perfect!
The chicken leg was also not bad, not as oily as expected

I love their chee cheong fun because they were extremely soft and smooth. I wish I can order as many plates as I like!!
Their chee cheong fun sauce is very unique as well, it was very thick, compared to other dim sum shops' watery sauce.
The har gaos (prawn dumplings) were stuffed with prawns, pork and mushroom. Love the texture and chewing sensation!
Same goes to their siew mai.

One of the best place to eat dim sum in Singapore!
The shop was really small and stuffy though. However, you can choose to sit outside if you want

Service was good and efficient. Waiting time was just about 10-15 minutes

Sugarcane drink inside a container which makes the overall appearance of the Sugar Cane a big cup! It costs about 2 for this cup. And it is really cooling and nice when you drink this while eating your dim sum over at Wen Dou Sek. They will give you a piece of lemon inside your drink but if you want extra, you can request for it. It is just taste and would not taste any of the sugar cane leftover.

It is filled with the meat inisde the wanton, and the outer crust layer is crispy but you can actually taste the oil taste. So i would not like it alot unless you don't mind the taste. Overall, i think it is of average taste only, but ther appearance is quite good looking as it is puffy!

When Charlene told me about this place, I tried to look up on the web and found several results. Some sites refer this place as "Wen Dao Shi" while others called it "126 Dim Sum". After piecing the different information, I realized they are referring to the same place.Actually I have been wondering why the Dim Sum place is called Wen Dao Shi (搵到食), it sounds quite funny in Chinese. Actually I have been wondering why the Dim Sum place is called Wen Dao Shi (搵到食), it sounds quite funny in Chinese. Coincidentally the stall is located at unit 126 which also sounds like "Wan Dou Sek" ("one two six").

The Egg Tart was not the flaky crust type. It has a very glossy and shiny surface. The custard was soft but rather average. I have eaten better one.

The Prawn Dumplings were big and packed fully with ingredients. There were prawn, mushroom and minced meat.

The Char Siew Rice Roll here was quite different. The rice roll was thicker in texture and came with a special sauce that was unique and nice.

The Fried Pork Intestines looked like those Hainanese pork chop in a glance. They were thin and crispy. For people who dislikes innards, the Fried Pork Intestines were not smelly at all.

I have eaten Enoki Mushroom wrapped with Beef slice but not Lean Meat before. It was my first time trying the combination and I love it.

The Kong Ba Pau is another unique offering at Wen Dao Shi. The Kong Ba Pau was rolled into bite size rectangluar shape bun which I can easily finish with one bite. Lean meat was used for the Kong Ba Pau.

The highlight has to be the White Pepper Crab Beehoon. According to Maureen, this dish used to be only available at night and now it is also available for lunch. The beehoon was very flavourful infused with the crab and white pepper flavours and aroma.

After night clubbing and you felt hungry and no where to go as more restaurant are closed and this is the place you should visit after your nightlife. When for Dim Sum with a group of friends and as usual this place is super duper crowded and got to wait for seat. Waited about 10min and get ourselve settle down and order my usual siew mai and finish it within a min and ordered a 2nd time. Just like their siew mai.

To satisfy any cravings for dim sum, this is definitely the right place! I'm back for my beloved fried tofu with mayonaise toppings. I think i taste small bits of fruits (mango) in the dressing! It really tasted refreshing and oil free though it's fried. My first time trying their yam wrapped prawn. Not really fantastic. The yam is tasteless , so is the prawn. Unless you dip them into chilli sauce, else it's just taste like some fried food tasteless food.

Situated at Geylang Lor 17. Love to drop by for a quick lunch or late night supper. I'm not a fan of pig's intestines but their fried ones is a must try! It's tasty! Ordered their century egg porridge as well. It's a bit bland but tasted well with the sides.

As i was craving alot for dimsum, my friends decided to bring me to a dimsum restaurant call “揾到食". Is just a 5-10 mins walk from aljunie MRT station to that place. instead of pouring the drinks in a glass it was poured in a plastic container, new experience as i dint see anything place pouring drinks in a container
we ordered 2 types of drinks, honey lemon and barley

A popular dish in hongkong, "xiao long bao"
however the xiao long bao is a little disappointing because there is not soup in the xiao long bao. so it taste more like a meat dumpling


There are alot more choices for you to choose like pau, fried wanton and more
total spent on this meals is 75$ for the 5 of us with lots of food been ordered
a choice for having dimsum
