Singapore Fried Noodles - Rasapura Masters (已結業)

An excellent place to fill stomachs that's still reasonably priced.I got the KL Hokkien Mee and its cooked-to-order so it's piping hot when served. Taste wise, it's quite good too!!I also liked the pho from Pho Hoa, this food court also brings in restaurants to bring in their food at a food court level but still pretty ex for normal food court prices.

FoodA $5 portion of fried carrot cake (white) that gives a good presentation.We were given 3 big pieces of carrot cake stacked nicely on top of each other. Went to raffles to sign a contract for the job offers and decided to make full use of the trip to shop and eat. I went to marina bay sand through walking to all the underpass from MBLM to try my luck to win some destination reward form MBS loyalty card game promo for the CNY period. If I can't think of anything to eat at the Rasapura food court, I will always go for the Singapore Hokkien Noodles. This is simply because, it can't go wrong what-so-ever. The standard of their Hokkien fried prawn noodle is very good and most importantly, very consistent! The saucy noodles is flavourful with aromatic prawn fragrant, good taste and it's so moist! All-time-favorite!

This was not my first time visit this Rasapura Masters. I ordered the fried oyster omelette the first time and it really tasted very very nice!!This time i decided to try their friend carrot cake. The fried carrot cake disappointed me and it only tasted normal. The portion was very small as we called for the large one. Will not ordered this dishes again but will consider to order the fried oyster omelette and hope that its still has its standard.

I like the way this stall present their piping hot noodles on the disposable leaves as it is really hygiene and clean. The noodles are chewy and not overcooked, which sometimes maybe abit soggy if it is overcooked. Lots of fresh prawns, sotong rings, fish cakes, spring onions and crispy pork cubes can be found in this hokkien mee. I ordered the oyster omelette from this stall since my overseas relative have not eaten this before. All I can say is it is a bad move. The oysters are very pathetic. I think I only counted like 4 pieces in the entire plate. Most of it is just flour with egg, effectively, it is as though we ordered fried flour egg instead of fried oysters with egg. In addition, the portion is very little as well and it is far too greasy. All I can say is, avoid this unless left with no other choice.

I walked through all the stalls and as expected, all the food costs a lot more than the price from normal food court. It was hard to make a choice since everything was so expensive.Finally I decided on the fried kway teow from this stall, which costs $6.The portion isn’t a lot, in fact some other food court which sells at a much lower price gives a larger portion. I reckon Thye Hong serves one of the best fried oyster omelette in Singapore. The big fresh oysters were fried in an egg omelette, without adding too much of the sticky starchy paste in it, making the dish more crispy and appetizing! The chili sauce that served together with the dish is mixed with lime juice, and hugely enhanced the flavour of the fried oyster omelette! Great dish.

So Rasapura masters is a place of good food curation around the island. Well, my friends and I wanted to try things and was missing market food, so char kway teow is nonetheless part of the list!We ordered the normal portion, $5.50, where there are 3 sizes in total.Well, I did remember that Thye Hong has other branches and it always was a long queue, but I donno, I guess mall stalls just don't have the same kick market stalls do!I know its the only food court around and way overpriced since it i
